Not much to tell that most of you dont know, I am everyone's (at least those who actually KNOW who the hell I am) favorite smartass. At least I try to be.

I found my collector's edition of Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Been reading the screenplay that comes with it.
I worked out again today, the class/workshop was about as intense as you could get in an hour. I am sore already, and know it wont be too pleasant later when the fatigue sets in. Im happy that I finally started something. The place I went to has two really great guys working there, and they have helped so much. Later in the week, I am going to be getting a description of the workouts, so I can take them home and continue the program at my own pace.
I got a speeding ticket, not much to tell about that one though.
Not much else has been going on, Halloween is this week, and I cant wait to break out the shinsengumi costume again. I had a student ask what I was going to be, I tried to explain. I dont quite think she got it. I cant wear the whole cosplay to work, it would be impossible to drive in a kimono, so just the haori will be coming with me to work.
I love Blu-Ray movies. So clean and spectacular. I got Nightmare before Christmas, Batman Begins, Casino Royale, and I also got The Force Unleashed for my PS3. AWESOME!!!!!!!!! GAME!!!!!!!
Still watching Ruruouni Kenshin, and have just been killing a lot of time doing a whole lot of nothing lately.
Moving on, to quote probably the most used of expressions in the Manga Pulse podcast. Take care everyone, I shall see you later.
Peace
Schultzie [hopefully still at least a few people's favorite smartass.]
I promise Ill update more completely tomorrow, but for now, a couple bullet points over the last few days.
- Work has been just that, no need to update that crap
- Sold my old car, got a little "walking around money"
- Bought some Blu-Ray movies, SWEEEET!
- Got Force Unleashed for PS3
- I hurt from working out seriously for the first time in god knows how long.
- Football, 'nough said.
"I am not one to advocate drugs, sex, alcohol or violence. But you know, they always worked well for me."
- Hunter S. Thompson
I always chuckle when I read that quote at the bar, someone wrote it in the guys bathroom on the door.
I just got all 95 episodes of Rurouni Kenshin, it was one of the first handful of anime that really made me an anime fan. Back in college when all I got was a little bit of early toonami and the late run on Saturday nights. Rurouni Kenshin, .hack//SIGN, Yu Yu Hakusho, etc... Good Times.
I cannot even remember the true nature of the post I wanted to type. But for a little bit, watching the first three episodes of Kenshin, I had not one worry in the world. I really love how after all this time, I can watch it, and get lost in the world of that ronin going "ORO?!".
Friday night, I took the hour drive up to Milwaukee to visit a friend, we were going to see his friends play a concert and they were releasing their first independant CD. The show was great, I will definately be going to see them when they come down to my little city of Ke-nowhere in a couple weeks.
Last night, I went to the normal Saturday watering hole, Paddy O's Pub in Ke-nowhere (On the Ke-nowhere thing, If you've been here, you would know). I cannot remember the last time I went out two nights in a row. I had fun, no akward attacks from my social anxiety. I was definately pleasantly surprised.
Anywho, take care everyone.
A video of the band I saw. They have a great energy at their live shows.
Im still sick. The cough isnt as bad, and my sinuses arent as stuffy, but I still have a fairly constant mild headache. And to top it all off now, my right ear doesnt seem to want to function properly. I can hardly hear anything out of it, it doesnt hurt, but at times I get a small short twinge of pain in it.
ITS ALL THAT LITTLE BASTARD MATTHEW'S FAULT!!!!! He is a good kid, I just wish he didnt cough all over my shoulder last week.
I finished watching the last episode of Code Geass: R2 yesterday. All I can say is WOW! That show took such an unexpected turn halfway through the season, I was afraid of how they were going to jump the shark. But at least, in my opinion, they didnt. I reccommend it to those who havent seen it yet.
