Concert fun, I had a blast. Right up front, Buck and the boys picked us out of the crowd again. But they always do that. Before the show, we just walked around, hung out, gave away a ton of stickers. A bartender asked me to put one on her boob, so I did. Oh, come on, like I would say "no?" I took over 100 photos, I need to upload them to photobucket.
Richie, one of the band members, gave me a sweet pose right before the show. And it was for me, because as soon as I called his name, and he noticed the camera, he did this:
Great show, they pretty much played what they did in Rockford, Ill a couple nights before, but its always a great show. I got to go backstage afterwards, talk with BOC for a few minutes, and got some pics of me with Richie, and me with Buck Dharma.
Good times.
I didnt feel like a title today.
I went to a concert last night, care to guess which band?
If you guessed Blue Oyster Cult (again) you were right!
We try to make it to every show they play as long as its within a couple hours of home. They picked us out of the crowd again, always cool to know the band. Someone asked if I could get them drum sticks, or a pick, but they dont give that stuff out too much. I dont even have drum sticks, and I keep asking Jules to give me some. Oh, Jules(drummer) had a baby, so hes taking a few weeks off to be with his wife and their newborn. So John Bocelli, the guy who played with Meatloaf and taught Jules how to play, sat in with the band for the first time in over 10 years.
They went deep again, playing some really rare songs as far as their shows go.
(I could link these to videos, possibly, but I dont feel like it now)

Well, the routes arent that difficult. Kids seem nice. I get to meet the rest of them Monday, seeing as that is when they start school.
This year should be interesting to say the least. Im hoping that I will be able to re-establish my credit somewhat this year. Im going to try really hard to not spend money on stupid shit. And pay off some bills (Seems to be an annual goal with me) Having summers off is a blessing and a curse.
Been loving Gurren Lagaan on Sci-Fi mondays. I should really get into some of the other popular anime that are out there. I still havent seen DGray Man yet.
I really have nothing else going on right now, life is getting into fall/winter routine again.
take care
Well, I dry ran my routes, and the high school route is made of bad. Im sure the kids will be fine, most of the time they are. But the route is 50 minutes long, and I have to drive from hell and back to get it done. Crap! Tomorrow is the first day back driving with students. Im not too worried about it, it will only take about a week to get all of the routes down to where I wont even need a paper for them.
Bus with radio is made of complete win. I cant wait to start getting some damn money again and be able to get some anime soundtracks and stuff like that to put onto the old iPod. Some neat instrumental tracks for the kiddies to listen to, or not, I still havent decided.
Anywho, take care people. Im am now back into work mode, meaning I cant stay up late for chat and stuff. I have to get to bed at around 10 to be up at 4:30 in the morning.

With all the talk aroundt TheOtaku.com this week seeming to be students worried about the upcoming school year, or just talking about it. I will give a little advice:
1 - Try not to burn out, it can happen quickly and unexpectedly.
(This one worked for me)
2 - Show up, shut up, and pay attention. It helps more than studying. Your teachers know what they are doing, even if it doesnt seem like it.
I hope it helped, Over the last three years, I have talked to quite a few students about their worries over tests, schedules, and other school related problems. It doesnt help to worry like their parents do at work, the greatest thing about school, is there is a lot of flexability. It might not be the best attitude to go about it. But I tell all of my students who ask those two little tidbits. And its helped them, or at least I like to think so.
