DAMNIT!
So, one of the "window licker" drivers came back over to big bus and took my routes this year. So I have to learn 6 new routes, one of which starts next week. Annnnnnd, I also got some time cut out. They are shortchanging the packages like crazy. So I will be getting fewer hours, which just absolutely sucks! I dont think Bob will like me, I took the routes he has been driving for the last three years away from him. Oh well, seniority and all. Someone took mine, I had to take someone elses.
So this year is shaping up to be "interesting" to say the least. But good news, another raise, and I got a bus with a damn radio! I can still listen to my iPod, but I wont have to put the headphones in. Yeah, Ive been there too long.

Work the last two days wasnt horrible, I only got minimally lost in an area I dont know, which is always a bonus. The 4 AM thing nearly killed me though, but I wont complain.
I had my annual DOT (dept of Transportation) renewall physical yesterday. Its something we have to do every year in order to make sure we are able to drive safely.
I have a class next week, as well as route bids (picking the workload for the current school year). I should be able to do alright, hopefully I can get close to 8 hrs a day again, I need the money BADLY!
Last softball game of the summer is tonight, and I think we will lose, again. But we kicked ass at the beer drinking competition. We did that without three or four of us including myself not even drinking. So yeah, we have a couple alcoholics on the team.
My beloved Chicago Bears open the preseason tonight, which I will miss due to aforementioned softball game. But thats ok, just knowing football season is here makes life a little better right now.

I hate working, but it must be done.
One of the bosses called me, asked me if I wanted to work tomorrow. I, like an idiot, said yes. I need the money bad, but working just one day isnt going to help much. He told me that I needed to be in at about, oh 5 AM! I will be waking up at about, oh, 4 AM!!!!!!!
This sucks, I dont even know what Im going to be doing tomorrow.

I went to another Blue Oyster Cult show, that makes it three for the year. This one was free, in Aurora, Illinois. Buck and the boys were playing at the annual street festival. This was one of the better BOC shows Ive been too, and Ive been to quite a few. They went deep in the archives for the set list:

Such a great show. And the Last Days of May link is a show I was actually at, so you will probably hear me whistle a couple times over the drunk guy.
And last night, I went out to see a friends band play at a local bar. Im a little partied out. Im gonna take a nap.
