Not much to tell that most of you dont know, I am everyone's (at least those who actually KNOW who the hell I am) favorite smartass. At least I try to be.

And now, we mourne.

Today, I mourne the loss of a personal hero.

George Carlin, comedy legend passed away last night due to heart complications. He was 71. Carlin had recorded over his 50 year show business career; 22 comedy ablums, 14 HBO specials, hosted many TV shows, including the very first episode of Saturday Night Live in 1975.

He had battled addition, to both alcohol and cocaine, but had just recently become sober.

Carlin was most known for bits like "7 Dirty Words You Cant Say on TV", and "Hippy Dippy Weather Man", as well as "Baseball vs Football".

Just this past Saturday, Carlin was announced to be awarded the "Mark Twain" award for Lifetime Achievment in Comedy.

Without much more doddering on my part, here is something most likely offensive to a lot of people.

FUCK YOU GEORGE! You were great.

I hate this week.

This coming Thursday will be the two year anniversary of my mom Barb passing away. Its hit me harder this year than last year, probably because last year, it still didnt feel real.

Its more than real for me now, Ive been depressed, antisocial, short tempered, and even more bitter/cruel with language choices. It seems that no words can be too scathing at this point. For some reason, I want to say things that would make George Carlin say, "Calm down."

Im not making too much sense to myself right now, so I hope that you can somewhat see what the hell it is that I have been going through.

I dont know how much I will be around this week, but then again its not like I have been posting everyday to begin with.

Take care everyone, Ill see you all later.

I hate sitting on the fence, its quite uncomfortable

I thought at least some of you would like to know whats been up since my last post.

No, I havent left yet. Though each passing day I wonder why the hell not! I think its because I have not been able to talk to my friend in Florida since Monday night, her voice mail is full. I cannot get a hold of her. Im probably going to have to track down her at work, I can get the number online. Ive done it before, its how I got her number back when I lost my phone in Toronto.

I start my bullshit summer route tomorrow. Fun shit that is. 3.25 hours of work a day. It hardly seems worth it at this point, but hey, I "should" be able to get full unemployment. I use the quotes, because Lakeside Transportation has a nasty history of fighting unemployment, and usually winning.

I got hit with a screaming line drive in the right shin at softball Thursday night. All kinds of wonderful colors have appeared in the football-sized bruise. It hurts like hell. But hey, I stayed in the game to finish the inning. Then immediately left the game, got ice, and whined about it like a little kid for the rest of the night. IT HURT LIKE HELL! One girl, every time she saw the bruise, started rubbing her leg. Really funny when I look back at it. They said that the guy who hit me with the ball left right away, didnt want me looking for him. Which I think is bullshit, but funny nonetheless.

Later guys. Im off to try and track down a friend.

Floated down the river on a raft with a black guy...

This had to be the highlight of the Rush show last night.

Not my video, its actually of a different concert. But they had that gag. And that is pretty much where I was sitting last night. 6th Row, right by Geddy Lee
