Where should I start? I think the beginning would be a good spot.
Not too much to tell about the drive in, rather uneventful. I leave home about 8:30 or 9:00 am, drive through Chicago, through Indiana, and into Michigan. Fall colors in full glory, on the trees that still had leaves.
I get to the US/Canada border about a half hour or so before Kastom's train arrived. Make it into Canada without a worry. Pick up Kastom, and the adventure begins.
I have only crossed alone, so I didnt think that crossing with Kastom would be that big of an issue. Boy was I wrong! You know, the guy with the rubber glove was a gentleman the entire time. . .
There was no rubber glove, stop yourselves. Kastom and I did however, have to wait in an office while they tore my truck apart looking through all of our stuff. That took about a half an hour. Got back into the US, I was no longer the foreigner ^__^!
We got onto the wrong highway, not that big of deal, we ended up getting lost, but still finding the con without a problem.
We waited for Kat and Ryu to show up, they did get lost. And then got some bad news, they wouldnt let Kat check into the original hotel because she isnt 21. They met up with Nehs while I got my badge and hung out at the hotel. People dug the shinsengumi costume and a couple noticed the BOC cronos on my back, and I got a couple pics taken. Good times.
So I ended up booking a room at the Hyatt with my credit card, so we got to stay at con for one night.
