After work on Friday, I got home, loaded up the truck. Then I read last weeks Naruto and Bleach Manga, watched some more of that painful Naruto filler AGAIN. Then I hit the road.

Saturday:
I left my house at about 7:00 PM, Only stopped once for gas, and made it from Kenosha, Wi to Springfield, Mo in about 9 hours. I arrived at my buddy's house at a little after 4:00 AM. Slept for a couple hours, then we went out and about, touring the town, seeing some of the sites(BASS PRO SHOPS Headquarters was cool). I bought a really nice rain coat, because I have needed one for a long time, and this seemed like a good oppurtunity to get one. We went to check out a lake near his house, fished for a half hour, I caught one fish. It got to be a little too cold and windy to stay, so we left. We came back to his house and hung out for the rest of the night, watched Princess Mononoke, his family loved it(I thought they would), I just wish I had my other Miyazaki movies with me so we could watch them also.

Sunday:
Spent a lot of time on the road, went fishing in the morning at the first lake, we caught a couple of little fish, the wind was kicking our ass, so we decided to stop. We picked up one of his friends from down here, and took a little road trip. Drove for an hour and a half, stopped at this cool damn. Watched one guy catch a fish from about 120 feet above the water(Pics to come of the damn when I get home). Has anyone ever seen a fish go "Skydiving", I have, it was funny. "I CAN SEE MY HOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSE" ^__^ On the way back down to Springfield, we stopped at this little place called Turn Back Creek and fished for a while. Caught some fish, it got dark, and we came back to his house.

Today:
More of the same, its only 9:00 am right now, so Monday/Tuesday and the Drive home will be covered when I get back to Chicago sometime Wednesday.
