Harpy Classification
Because I feel like I need to explain what my Harpy actually is in the Naruto world...
Harpy
Species Classification: Sub-human
Creature Level: XXXXX (As dangerous as dangerous gets)
Abilities: Flight, enhanced strength, decreased aging, great agility and flexibility
Unique Features: Has both Harpy and Human form, wings originate from within the body, Claws and Fangs
Personality Traits: Destructive, Volatile, Frisky, Flirty, Manic, Pyro
Diet: Any meat (including human flesh)
Living Conditions: Usually requires nest but doesn't need to live in it, lives with her fellow Harpy sisters until she's at least 100, prefers to live in disarray
Average Lifespan: Unknown, usually killed off in battle while they're still young
Other: No such thing as a male harpy, only hybrids
In this Harpy culture there's two different distinctions, the warriors and the child bearers. You're assigned a lifestyle by the Clan Mother when you reach adulthood (20-25) and you spend the next 80~ years honing your chosen side. Child bearers appear (for all intents and purposes) human for the rest of their regular life while warriors don't revert out of their natural Harpy form and are often referred to as "demons". They can rarely return to any sort of human form.
Each clan of Harpy sisters has different strengths and different distinguishing characteristics. Wings can be either feathery or leathery and any colour, some have Kekkai Genkai's while others do not.
500 years ago Harpies were rounded up and offered a unique chance to be turned into "super soldiers" by allowing their bodies to live without basic human organs. Lungs, Heart, Kidneys, Liver were all to be extracted. Later it was found out that the intention of the scientists were to extract the consciousness out of the harpies and use their body's as human "puppets". Upon learning this few were able to escape. Those who were partially experimented on learned that if their actual organs were destroyed, they could die. It is unknown how many harpies remain in the world. Those who still remain hold a disdain for the puppet corp of Suna and any puppet master they meet.
