SEARCH ON DAGOBAH

-This story takes place after the rise of Darth Vader and before A New Hope.
General Veers- Lord Vader, we are beginning our approach on Dagobah.
Vader- Very good Commander. I want ten thousand troops in each of the 32 sectors.
Veers- Yes sir.
-As the captains meet with Vader-
Vader- I want each of you to take 10 men and get a troop name. Give names to Commander F3-192. I want all life on this planet sought out. Bring any person to me. Set all weapons for stun only. If a team finds any person, get in touch with the closest general. Understood?
Captains- Yes sir!
As the captains get their team together Vader meets with the generals. The generals are all handpicked by the emperor to supervise the mission.
Vader- You all are here because you all excel in your missions. I want five of you in each sector of the planet. You will be notified by a captain. If you see any foolishness, I want that person sent to me. He shall pay for his lack of intelligence. You shall engage with only one person on this moon. I am looking for a Jedi Master named Yoda. I want him alive. Am I understood?
Generals- Yes Lord Vader.
Vader- Now go to the command post and get to your sector.
- While the captains get their teams together-
Vader- Commander? Who is that there by the command post?
Commander- That is Maris Brood. She was found wandering the planet of Coruscant. We picked her up only weeks ago. She is a sith. She will be traveling the planet over seeing the progress.
Vader- Thank You.
Commander- Yes Lord Vader.
- During the search, a team was searching a swamp and came across a crawl space in the ground.
Trooper G2-934- Captain! I found a crawl space.
Captain D1-746- You two! Check it out!
-Troopers- Yes sir.
- While in the hole, they come across and small piece of metal. One of the troopers picks it up and the other disappears.
Trooper- Where did you go?
-The trooper walks into the dark.
Trooper- Ahh… help me.
Captain D1-746- What’s going on down there? Let’s go men.
-They all file into the hole and Yoda comes out of the darkness and that’s the end of the team.

Part 2
-While at the command post, Vader paces the halls with anxiety. He is becoming angered. Three teams are missing and still no sign of the Jedi Master Yoda.
General Veers- Lord Vader! We have found a person walking in sector 15. He denies to any others, but we are searching that sector with twice the efforts.
Vader- Very well Commander. I want to see more life.
Veers- Yes my lord.
- Vader meets with the emperor with the prisoner for questioning.
Emperor- What do we have here? Who is this Lord Vader?
Prisoner- I am Kowaun. Why are you here?
Emperor- Do not speak out of turn. For every time you speak without being spoken to, Lord Vader will slice a small portion of your fingers off. Now where were we? Who are you with? Where are your friends? And why…
Kowaun- I am not going to answer such stupid questions. I want to know why you are here!
Emperor- Guards! Secure him!
- The guards secure the prisoner down to a table where Vader then slices of his index finger.
-Kowaun screams with pain and rage.
Emperor- Answer the question! If you do not answer the question, I will be forced to have you tortuered. If you answer me, you will die fast and painless. Either way, I win. So… What will it be? Fast? Or is it pain?
Kowaun- You will never get pleasure from my death.
Emperor- So it is pain. I’m so sorry for your stupidity.
-The emperor immediately releases a painful wave of lightning. The man takes about seven minutes of searing pain and lies breathless on the table.
Emperor- I want him taken to the command post and taken to where he was found. He is not the only one down here. I want all efforts tripled. Now go to the sector of which he was found, and I want all others to be found. I want them alive.
Darth Vader- Yes master. If I find them, I will notify you.
-Vader leaves for the sector the man was found in. When he arrives, he is approached by the commander.
Commander Reese- Lord Vader, what are our orders.
Vader- My orders are not of your concern Commander. Return to your activities.
- Vader jumps into a transport speeder and goes to the coordinates in which Kowaun was found. A group of troopers were standing around a pit in the ground.
Vader- What is going on here?
Trooper Z1- 941- We found a pit in the ground. The bottom is filled with stakes. It’s a trap.
Vader- Did anyone fall in?
Trooper Z1- 941- Yes. He is dead now.
Vader- You clumsy, incompetent, excuses for soldiers. The Emperor is becoming angry and he wants the person he is targeting now.
Trooper Z1- 941- I’m sorry Lord Vader. We will search faster.
Vader- I hope so for your sake Captain.
Darth Vader leaves the group and continues his mission to find the Jedi Master rumored to be living there.

Part 3
-Vader returns to the command post with a person who was trying to run from the storm troopers.
Emperor- Who is this?
Vader- We don’t know. He won’t talk.
Emperor- Well, then we will have to loosen his lips. Won’t we? Lord Vader, let’s take him to the heat prongs.
Vader- Yes, my master. Guards, take him to the room.
Shadow Guard 1- Yes lord!
- They take the person to the heat prongs and strap him in.
Emperor- Now, I will give you one chance to answer each question. No second chances, and no speaking out of turn. Now first, what is your name?
- The young person looks at them with anger and a hint of fear.
Emperor- No response? Oh well! Put it on level one my apprentice.
- The heat prongs turn to a light red and the ends start sparking. The person slowly starts to descend on the prongs. He screams of pain and he starts to lift back up.
Emperor- Question 2, Why are you here?
Prisoner- I will never answer to you. You are filth compared to the Jedi. You disgust me!
-The prisoner spits at the emperor and the emperor becomes angry. He hits a button and the prisoner falls to the ground and the prisoner dies the same way Kowaun died. The emperor laughs at what he did.
Emperor- Now Vader, lets go. I want to see the planet for my self.
Vader- Yes master.
The emperor and Darth Vader leave the body and go to the transport speeder to get a view of the planet.

Part 4
-The Emperor and Vader are on their way to where a small house was found. There are scout troopers watching the house for any movement. It was getting dark and the inside of the house was jet black.
Emperor- Who lives here? And why aren’t you going in?
Trooper- We are not going in because we are snipers. We watch for movement. If you want to go in then we will cover you.
Emperor- Did you just disrespect me?
The emperor lifts him with the force, strangles him and throws him into the pond.
Emperor- Anyone else? Didn’t think so!
Vader- Master, I’ve felt a disturbance in the force. I feel a life form with a high concentration of the force.
Emperor- I know. I’ve felt it since we got here.
Vader- Could it be the young padawan you’ve picked up from Coruscant.
Emperor- What did you say? A padawan? I have no other apprentice but you. What are saying?
Vader- General Veers back at the command post says you have picked up a new apprentice from Cloud city. Her name is Maris Brood.
Emperor- You fool. Think back to that young fool you picked up from Kashyyk to locate leaders of the rebels. Maris was the padawan of Shaak Ti.
Vader- I shall find her. She will be brought to you my master. I’m sorry! I have failed you.
Emperor- It is fine. Now bring her to me.
-Vader gets in his speeder in search of the spy. Vader arrives at the small house and asks if they have seen anything.
Trooper- Yes. Lord Brood has gone in to search for Yoda.
Vader- Fools. This area is now closed move out.
Troopers- Yes lord Vader.
-The troopers file away and Vader enters the small shack. Inside he sees a hologram. He picks up the hologram and sees:
Yoda- Yes Anakin. You have found my old home. My new home is on a planet far away from here. The force you have picked up is my apprentice Maris Brood. She is on her way to the emperor.
Vader(with his radio) - all troops to command the search is over. He has escaped.
- Back on the star destroyers, Vader meets with the emperor to tell of his find.
Emperor- Vader, no need to be sorry. I had foreseen his escape. Now, we shall find his new home. Maris is waiting for her execution in the prisoner hold. Go!
Vader- Yes, master!
-Back on Dagobah, Yoda settles down for a rest. He yawns and laughs at the fools who had passed his secret home, in the hole in the ground, so many times.
