Part 4: Thunder
Chapter 1: Yoh
Three people entered the Japanese naval base. The one in the middle was the shortest had short brown hair and a casual look. The one to his right was a little taller than he was with spiky blue hair and wore a bandana around his head and a heavy jacket. The one to his left towered over them, and who was older then both of them, had his hair in a weird style that had gained him weird looks on the bus ride there.
They entered the naval base.
"Wow," the blue haired one named Horohoro said. "Look at all the shamans!"
Shamans, spirits, and concession stands were all over the place. Many shamans were talking like old friends. These would be the shamans in the Shaman fight.
"Step right up!" someone beckoned from the concession stands. The man had long slick black hair.
"Hey, Silva," Yoh said, surprised. "Long time no see!" Ryu and Horohoro nearly collapsed out of surprise. Horohoro had gotten really annoyed and started yelling at his officiant - Kalim- next to Silva who was selling chocolate-dipped bananas.
"Hey, these are pretty good," came a familiar voice.
Horohoro's eyes nearly popped out of his head. "Ren? You too?!" he shouted, surprised by the Chinese shaman's actions. Ren looked at the gang and sort of grinned.
Yoh and the others chatted for a moment. Suddenly, a someone bumped into Yoh.
"Sorry, sir!" came a girl's apologizing voice.
Yoh caught a jolt of energy that felt all to powerful that it reminded him of a immense fire. Yoh whipped around to see a girl. She was as tall as him. She had a soft expression in her blue eyes and had long brown hair. She was wearing a blue uniform of some kind.
The girl suddenly flinched, but quickly relaxed. "I'm sorry," she said again. "Are you hurt?"
Yoh grinned at the girl. "Nope. I'm alright." The girl flinched again but recovered just as quickly as she did before. She sighed, pounded herself on the head, and mumbled under her breath.
"Something wrong?" Yoh asked.
The girl flushed. "Nope! I just forgot something!" she replied. "See ya!" The girl ran off.
Yoh stared after her with a confused look. Horohoro's voice broke Yoh's thoughts. "That one was for sure a weird one," he commented.
"She must be in the shaman fight. We'll see her again," Ren replied. "She'll be our enemy."
No one answered. Yoh looked nodded. We'll see her later, Yoh thought. The four moved out to have a lunch together away so they could think.
