The tall teen girl stared solemnly at the room. “The evidence points to that the man was killed by none other than a new monster,” said a tall and lean man. A carcass was laid in the room. It was maimed so badly that no one could tell who the poor soul was.
“But, how could it be a monster?” asked the Queen. “We’ve had no trouble with any monsters in the last ten years.”
“It could be anything,” answered the lean man. “It could be some rabid animal.”
“How could it get through the space field, then?” the King suggested.
“It didn’t come through the Space Field,” the tall teen said. The court looked at her in confusion. “It was teleported here. A rabid animal or monster, it couldn’t have gotten through the Space Field for there are no spaces. It was teleported here.”
“How could it have been teleported into the city?” asked Sailor Venus, one of the Guardian Shenshi.
“Through the light or shadows,” suggested Sailor Mercury, a second of the Guardian Shenshi. “It’s possible, after all.”
“Yes,” agreed the King.
“Mercury, do you think you can look into this?” the Queen inquired Mercury. Mercury nodded and ran off to start working on it.
“Thank you, Kira Hoshi and Noble Hoshi,” the King and Queen thanked them.
The Hoshi family bowed and went on their way.
“Excellent observation, Kira!” her dad cried. “I didn’t even think of that!”
Kira paid the praise no mind. “Of course. Father. We must look at all the possibilities to get to the bottom of this,” she said plainly.
Her father frowned. “Why must you be so impartial t praise? It’s good to feel at least feel a little prideful!”
“Pride can only get in the way of justice,” Kira answered with the same tone.
“True, but you’re human after all,” he mumbled.
Kira pretended that she didn’t hear a thing.
“Excuse me, my fine young lady,” came a pleasant male voice. “Are you Kira, by any chance?”
