First period was P.E. Sense today just happened to be Monday; all the classes had to run around the school. Three laps is a C, four laps are a B, and five laps are an A. Me being one of the seria race, I naturally have endurance, speed, and a good heart to go along with it. The average student runs/walks three to four laps. I ran five laps in fifteen minutes. The amount of time I had remaining of free time: five minutes.
During those five minutes, I thought of the up-coming events. The human race doesn’t know of the seria race so, I have to make up an excuse to miss school for five days. During those five days, I will be participating in a 100% human free event because it would be dangerous for them.
Here let me tell you something about the Seria. Our instincts tell us to destroy anything in our way and to survive another day. Also, our instinct (depending on what one is) tells us to keep hidden. This instinct keeps us all out of the public eye. Our history is long so I will not say all of it today. In 2580 B.C. the queen ruling gave everybody a single command that stuck to everybody since. This command was the keep hidden part of our instinct. We hide our selves because it was the last wish of the ancient one, the first born seria. Even though I am this queen in a different body, I have not interfered with the governing of the seria. I have done this with two purposes in mind. To have them mature and evolve themselves and so I could keep watch of both races without disturbance.
The event that I am going to is a competition. I have to participate this year because it is required. Once the age of 15, a seria must be a part of the event till they are at least 18. The event is kind of like a big game of capture the flag. Each contestant has a color and the first contestant to have three other colors from the fellow contestants wins. Though, there is a twist. This is where it gets to dangerous for human beings. Each contestant must “kill” three other contestants. By kill, I mean to deal enough damage to make your opponent(s) loose footing. The only color that can’t be used is black. Non-contestant players ware black. All they do is try to slow you down by attacking you. The better you are, the more you are, get attacked. The terrain is a giant forest with no paths on the ground or trees. Each constant may bring and use anything in the competition. For example, I could bring swords and guns and the officials wouldn’t care less. Anything to win.
Personally, I don’t want to do the compotation, but it is customary for 15 -18 year old seria to participate in the event. So, I will particapate.....Unfortunately.
