One of the men pulled out a gun and started firing. Instinctively, I pulled away from the group.
Bad Idea!
I was now singled out. I ran back toward the group as fast as humanly possible. The moment I was in, the bullets stopped flying and people were throwing punches. All I was able to do was doge them by going left and right fast.
They surrounded me quickly and were closing in. Now I was getting anxious. I turned and turned finding no way to escape.
“Shoot her before she panics!”
I saw past them at my fellow students. No one was hurt but everyone was scared and/or angry with them. Looking past the students, I saw the teachers with horrified looks on their faces. The last thing I saw was that all eyes were on me and the other unconscious student. BANG!! BANG!! BANG!!
A sudden pain brought me to my hands and knees. The pain was excruciating. I felt a thick and warm liquid run onto my knees and soak my jacket. I lifted a hand to the source and brought it to my eyesight.
Oh,...its blood….my blood….and there sure is a lot of it.
I felt myself fall to the side.
What’s….happening….to me….
And then I blacked out.

People were all around me shooting at others. I looked to where they were shooting.
Unarmed Civilians.
Why? Why are they killing the innocent? This is wrong!
I turned back to what was now soldiers shooting.
“Stop!” I yelled.
Not a single response came from a single soldier.
“Stop! There are civilians out there! You’re going to kill them!”
No head turned in my direction. Desperately, I turned back to the civilians to find what were now creatures unknown to this world and people wielding swords and spears! Some didn’t even have weapons! Those whom were unarmed either had a clear blue flame around them deflecting bullets and attacking at the same time or some other unworldly power only defending, attacking, or both! This scared me. Suddenly, I found myself in between the two sides. As a creature approached me, I backed up, fear spreading to my limbs. Then I stopped, immobilized and found someone else standing was I was. I looked closer without moving an inch.
Another me!
I stumbled back in surprise to this realization. Returning my attention to the creature, I saw a glimpse of a horrible scene! Just as the creature was passing by the other me. My duplicate pointed at it and its insides exploded outward! It fell to its side and the other me looked over her shoulder at me. She extended her hand outward, indicating for me to come. I looked deep into her eyes and found them full of guilt and sadness. I turned toward her, captivated by her emotions, and slowly walked toward her. When I finally reached her, I lifted my hand and ever so gently set my hand on hers. Roughly, she pulled me in close to her and whispered fiercely.
“This is your future! Change it or many will die and DON”T LET THE DARKNESS CONTROL YOU! If this future stays the same, you will live the rest of your life with regret, despair, and more sadness than you can handle!”
She than turned me toward her and hugged me tightly.
“Embrace your power to its fullest and remember….remember who you truly
are Ohlanah!”

I opened my eyes wide to find myself tied up and in some kind of closed off space.
