I had a pretty good day for my bday yesterday, even though I worked. I think because I was in a good mood… as everyone should have been! Remember the rule yesterday, no negative emotions were allowed on the 25th.

Milky drew me the most hilarious and awesome picture for my bday!! The easiest place for you guys to view is probably from Milky's post. Like she says, if you don’t get the reference watch the video. That SNL clip is so funny! And so is the pic, I adore it. ^__^
I have today off, and even better, I was productive in the morning! I said I was going to enter a couple of the art contests and I got the preliminary sketches for both drawings down. Score. The hubby ordered me a Wacom bamboo pen tablet from Amazon, since we couldn’t find any at the stores we liked, so I am going to wait until that comes to color the pics.
But I uploaded the sketches to my drafts if you’d like to see them. For the Show Some Class, which was a challenge to pick a character from a list and draw then in a suit, I changed my mind and ended up going with Abarai Renji. You can see Renji [here]. And I soooo fail at drawing his tattoos.
The better of the sketches turned out for the World’s Greatest Alchemist contest. Roy and Ed came out so much better. Excuse Roy’s, er, over bishiness though. It just sort of happened. o_O
I can’t wait to play around with colorings these. Since there is a bunch of other stuff to look at I’ll continue with the Old School MyO pics next time. Now go look at Milky and Raina’s art!
