Okay, not really, I just finally have a few minutes to myself. This last week has just been really busy, and now I finally have some time to study before my two exams this week. I have a midterm already. Blegh. Needless to say, I'll be doing a lot of calculus and trying to understand Psychology.
I've been trying to raise a plant! Thats right! I'm in charge of a living thing! Can you say bad idea? The larger of the two is still alive and doing very well I might add. But the little one just looks bad...I don't know if its going to live...my cat bit it before I could get it away from him, and that little part isn't doing so good. Poor little guy. Only three leaves are still green and alive.
Other than that, I really just have work to talk about, and I doubt you want to listen to me talking about my students and how I am completely oblivious to when I'm using slang, but I'm going to tell you anyway. This afternoon was my favorite. I was talking to a student from Niger and he was about to walk out the door when I asked "Where are you off to?" He got so confused, and I didn't know why until I realized I should have asked him "Where are you going?"
Oh americans and our funny slang!
