Ya...So I've lost my mind because of all the drawing I did yesterday. Or at least thats what I'm assuming because I've been listening to Nyan Cat for over 1000 seconds. I'm definitely not sane anymore. Good news though is that I don't have three jobs to work. The levee job had too many people show up, so I didn't even try to apply for it. Let those other people do it, I have to fix the house anyway.

So...I've been playing around with music (as usual) and I have found my old Blink-182 CD! Its awesome! I'm back in my early teens! Also I've been listening to my music and finding what albums make me think of certain characters. Unfortunately, I haven't found anyone for any of my favorite bands albums. I'm sorry Avenged Sevenfold (A7X), I'll find someone for you, I promise.

I do love music a lot. And its not even all rock. I enjoy anything. Yes even country music. But it has to have good lyrics, a beat, and something that makes it stand out from other artists. Thats one of the reasons I enjoy A7X, they have some pretty good lyrics...for some of their songs...and all of their songs are definitely unique. Except for their first CD...that one was pretty generic.

I've also been getting into folk songs a lot lately. Especially good old irish folk songs. They are so interesting. One of the songs I always laugh at just because of the beginning. I mean, with a song that starts out "Patrick was a gentleman, he came from decent people," in a singsong like manner? Hilarious. Its even funnier than Rob Zombie singing about bubblegum. Some of this new stuff coming out is making me angry though. Like that E.T. song. I thought it was a pretty ok song, until they added that rapper to it. That just took so much from the song. It had pretty ok lyrics and turned it into crap. "I'm gonna probe you." I mean really?

Seriously, what is everyones obsession with sex? I know it sells, and I know that people have been singing about it for years, but it was never this out right. I guess thats just a problem I have with it. I think it stems from me not thinking that porn is art either. I understand why some photos or paintings are nude, but just outright pornography I don't consider art. Same goes for music. Singing about it artistically is one thing. Just out right saying it just to say it and gain an image in someones mind, I don't like.
