Once again, welcome to this week's update of things going on in my life. This week has been ransacked by my receiving of Tekken 6 with the arcade stick and the release of Bayonetta. I'm addicted to customizing all the characters in Tekken 6 as well as kicking butt with Asuka Kazama. I also love Bayonetta because it has to be one of the best action games I've ever played.
I wished I could be like my friend and just plow through the game, but I can't. At the end of every level, the game decides to give you a stone, bronze, silver, or gold award. I received the gold award once and the silver twice because I replayed the missions (even if it took me 3-4 retries). I hated getting the stone award at the end because it never feels right. I am somewhat experienced with these kinds of games after all (Devil May Cry and Ninja Gaiden). However, replaying the levels this many of times says something about this game. Great deployability, despite the insane levels.
Also, I saw the girl who probably likes me again today. She usually visits to make an order before she goes to work. I manage to get a small conversation here and there. I asked her when she starts her shift and I told her that I'd be stuck at work until three. She laughed and said something like, "Oh, you want me to visit you then?" Even though it seemed like a friendly sarcastic gesture, I wonder if she's half serious. I kinda like her despite what everyone else and my ridiculous picky-ness says.
I just hope that it isn't too much of a hassle if things go far. The stigma of interracial dating will probably prick at me since I get a conservative vibe from everyone in the family. I did go out with a Korean girl before, but that ended in a disaster (I'm sure Kels remembers that time). Despite my questionable past relationships, I get a different vibe this time. I wonder if something different and good is gonna happen.
By the way, I'm learning Ahead on Our Away by Nobuo Uematsu on guitar. I really want to play all the parts on my guitars with effects and see how a full on recording goes. Or I might just post a simple acoustic cover video on YouTube or something later.
Anyways, have a good rest of the week!
