So today is the final day of my digital illustration and design class.
This is it.. I'm giving up Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere..
In order to pursue my new main goal in life.
Becoming an Prima Undine.
Okay? :]
But seriously folks.. I'm going to become a health professional (most likely a nurse).
My chances of getting into the program are pretty good this year..
It's most likely that my next semesters will be overflowing with information regarding information related to:
Aseptic techniques, clinicals, pathophysiology, pharmaceuticals, etc.
My brother is smart, but he, along with my parents, believes that I can do this because my academics have been consistently good since elementary school
Slightly better than his actually.
Just know that I'm not sad about quitting the arts. I feel indifferent about it.
It'll still be with me, but I feel like I have to use my brainpower and knowledge for something greater:
Helping people who are in need.
Ever since this semester started, I've been reading articles nearly everyday about health news, keeping up to date with the latest trends related to the health sciences.
It's something that's becoming more and more dear to me.
And in celebration, here's everything I've done in my digital illustration and design class (w/ commentary!).
You can use it for whatever you want. I don't mind because even though it is being used by someone else, it makes me feel a bit good inside knowing that it's circulating 'round the web.
I'm not a pro yet, but it has happened to me on some image boards. :]
If you guys find purpose or a goal in your life..
Reach for it! I'm sure it'll yield to you if you put enough effort into it.
It's sad to say goodbye.
But it's even sadder not being able to move on.
