hello people.
it's sherly (get it? hahaha) been awhile. i've been kinda busy with things as per usual, but you won't believe how many things have happened in the past few months.
i'm typing in a new "format" because i really don't care about formatting anymore (that didn't make sense). i'm lazy to capitalize right now (although i do capitalize on my twitter). so hopefully you guys don't mind this lack of technique. i'd say its a more relaxed way of expressing what i'm deeply thinking about on the internet.
reason why i lost interest in theotaku was because i felt as if i had to write an essay all the time. well right now i guess i feel like writing because so many things have been going on lately. also, i made this account because i made a new screen name that doesn't have anything to do with my old names. you can say i'm paranoid about my internet identity and privacy. im sure sherr will be hard to link up to my old internet activity.
anyways, i seriously don't know where to begin because ugh. brain fart right there. well, what ive been focusing on the past few weeks is guitar. yes, guitar.
i recently purchased an electric guitar +amp 2-3 weeks ago for about 500 something dollars. ive been slowly improving on my guitar ability and i'm getting more confident with my style of playing. im a guitarist in my friend's band and will slowly make my way up to lead guitarist because he is the singer. so im essentially the one who will have to deal with the solos and the shredding of faces (metalhead me, seriously i've been listening to noisecore and enjoy it).
my friend and i roadtripped to new york state just to meet up with our drummer, hideki. i finally got the chance to play with someone playing drums and it was really enjoyable, but i have to remain serious because i dont have as much skill as they do with their instruments. i dont know about ***, our bassist, because he cant play some parts in some songs either.
our songs are definitely not mainstream and i dont know if itll be your taste either. however, some people do like what we do. one day we'll be playing live in some small place and hopefully move onto other things (maybe, haha. that would be awesome though).
