hello everyone! it surely has been awhile, but it has been a ride for me these past few days.
i had to make huge decisions such as deciding what i will actually major in… and more personal stuff that i will get into some other day. right now, i kinda don't want to think about it. i'll focus on the small thangs now.
in a few days, i will be playing guitar with a band for the first time in front of a small crowd. we've been practicing for days and we think we got it right. i'm also getting better at guitar the more i play, which is good for me. ;]
is it weird that i'm not too nervous? well, my friend ryan is nervous because he does vocals and plays guitar at the same time, but i want to be there when he finally reveals this band that he's been working on for ages.
other than practicing and hanging out, i haven't been doing much. i finished avatar: the last airbender a few days ago and loved the ending. some plot holes could've been filled, but i guess they had no more episodes left to fill them. i'm also gonna finish gurren lagann tomorrow, which i'm kinda sad/excited about.
hmm, what else. yeah, notice that i'm watching more anime as usual these days. i might get back into air tv sometime since i finally got netflix on my xbox because of the new update. i also just saw the best student council, which i currently don't like, but i'm still somewhat interested to see how the 2nd episode goes. (i'm still waiting for netflix to ship code geass, grr)
i'm also reading rosario vampire, notice not watching, because this guy who i met up on the community chat, delitor, told me to read it instead. i've heard things about the rosario vampire anime and saw pictures, realizing that it looks really really fanservicy, which i don't like. the manga is subtle in that, which is good.
onto movies, i saw 28 days later, which was okay in my opinion. i didn't think it was that scary, but it was more cringy. esp. at this part where this guy got bit in the arm by a zombie and blood just kept pouring out. i just didn't want to imagine my arm bleeding like that, haha.
well anyways, i might watch dr. strangelove in a bit. another kubrick classic that i've heard many things about. i really want to see clockwork orange when it hits my queue. i'm also receiving memento in the mail tomorrow as well as the last gurren lagann dvd. i'm excited!
anyways, i'm done raving over movies and anime.
although, i'm excited about receiving my saber figma. since saber has to be, imo, one of the greatest anime heroines ever.
hmm, on the topic of figurines… Question of the day: if you are into figurines, but never had the cash to get one and you finally had some cash on the side leftover from shopping, what character figurine would you get?
i have 2 kos-mos gashapons, haha.
