hello everyone. it's been awhile since i last updated this blog, but i feel like it is appropriate because this week is ending soon (and i don't want it to ;[).
i'll just give a brief summary of the days of this past week.
monday:
i went to psych. class and didn't even bother going to computer class. after that, i practiced guitar nonstop for the next day.
tuesday:
had to be a highlight/all time low for the week because this was my first ever concert (open mic). i picked up some friends, including our second singer. i left one of my friends (who i really don't like anymore) behind at his college, while i picked my other friend up who goes to the same college.
hours passed and there i was, playing guitar in front of people. it was really scary when i played the first notes (i messed up quite a bit because my hands were shaking). after that, we felt as if our band had to be one of the worst ones there because of our singer (and our lack of a drummer, bassist, and keyboardist that day).
wednesday:
i was still despondent over the failed concert. i blame it all on the terrible singer we had (if you saw him, you'd 100% say that his singing is awful).
thursday:
thanksgiving celebration at my cousin's house. all my cousins were there as usual. also, youngins these days are getting boyfriends and girlfriends at such an early age. it's scary to think about it (i still wished i had a true love, maybe it could be you, mlq(ss)).
we had our own turkey, but cooked properly this time with stuffing. it was delicious! i also devoured a good amount of pumpkin cake cream cheese roll (so good). however, during most of the day, i played guitar in front of my cousins and helped some of my older cousins learn beginner chords.
blk. friday:
i don't like black friday. i was going to buy a sweater, but i changed my mind. i went with the kid i left behind at his college (i don't know why). but here's the gist. the only reason why he wanted to hang out was to play fallout 3 at my house (and possibly get free food from me).
i mean, how ungrateful can you be? that's all you want from me? is to play my xbox 360? afterwards, he also used me to go to stores in order for him to buy his psp for himself. i didn't even get gas money from him. i mean, i probably wouldn't care if i lived really close, but i live really far and he knows that too, but doesn't even bring up the topic of owing me gas money.
i'm fed up with that kid.
oh yeah, i also taught my friend dani how to play the L theme on guitar, as well as tune it. through skype webcam chat. i really want to teach people guitar, haha.
saturday:
so i saw seven samurai today. such an amazing movie til today and had to be the greatest of its time. don't watch that samurai seven anime because it doesn't compare to the actual movie. kikuchyo is one hell of a character and samurai.
i also worked today and the person that i like, mlqss, wasn't there. i was a bit let down, but i kept on moving. maybe tomorrow, i'll be able to see mlqss again. i hope that i gain the confidence to ask this person out one day…
the present:
so that was my week. finals are coming soon, so i better study like hell.
