hello ya'll. it's early morning. usually i'm not supposed to be up by now, but due to some remarkable miracle, i have woken up way before my cell phone alarm clock goes off. it plays the guitar solo of paranoid android, VERY loudly and i get too lazy to turn it off.
anyways, onto better things. i've recently put myself out more into the community chat. as i mentioned before in sherants, it's not as bad as i thought out to be. kaydirt is a really down to earth moderator. he also gave me some advice on some of my cynicism, although sometimes it's very hard NOT to be a cynic. "let fools act foolish." well said my friend!
onto more expensive things. i have now declared that i'm going to invest in a pedal board. what is a pedal board you ask? well it's a board where you stick on your guitar effects pedals onto. you combine them all via coupling cables… uhh, in simple words, pretend that i'm connecting my guitar to my amp. well, in between the connection, there's many devices that will allow me to do all sorts of crazy sounds with my guitar.
this is probably going to cost me a ridiculous sum of money. i'm also probably going to finance in an amp, so i can play monthly instead of paying fully upfront, however, i'll have to wait and see if my band will pursue gigging seriously. then i'll really have to buy a larger amp and possibly more effects pedals to keep our band interesting. i might be out of money for awhile, haha.
my friend ryan also posted up the video that was our failure of a first performance. if you want to see it, just pm me. i want to post it publicly, but at the same time, i don't! haha. my performance wasn't good on the first song, but i was better on the second song. our back-up singer was terrible on both songs.
anyways… i think that i'm going to attempt to post on all my worlds today. i need something to do in the morning, haha. after that, i'm off to college today at 10:40. i might go shopping for jeans afterwards, then i have to study for a big exam tomorrow.
question of the day: what is the most that you'll spend on a christmas gift this season?
i really want to buy one of my cousins an acoustic guitar, but i'm still young and 99$ will really kill my savings. maybe when i get a job in the nursing career, haha. well, i spent about 96 dollars on a bracelet, but i'm paying for it monthly.
see you next time.
