Thoughts 01

Thoughts:
I had this pop up randomly when I got into the shower today. I'm sure many of you guys have your influences and whatnot. You don't have to take this too seriously.

I'm was thinking about what exactly affects our actions in our lives. Even though we strive to be original, aren't we somehow one way or another not being original? I know, it doesn't make much sense, but it's stuck in my head now.

Afterthoughts:
Even though I'm a bit satisfied with who I am today, I feel like I'm not original yet. Perhaps my standards for originality are set really high. After thinking about it, we have individuality in our own ways. Humans are still imperfect even if they have positive influences. So would those imperfections truly be what makes people original?

After brainstorming about this, it's difficult for me to distinct between becoming a better person and becoming more original. I think it would be best if we somehow kept the two in sync.

My own conclusion:
I guess you can be original if you try. If you take influences from other things and use them to improve yourself more, then do it. Blatant imitation is not good.

Ex: I'm a huge supporter of Thom Yorke from Radiohead. I like his ideas, but I don't agree with everything he says. However, his music from Radiohead and thoughts on climate change still remain with me.

If you have anything that's thought provoking about this topic that you want to add, please do. This is gonna be stuck with me for the whole day now. I feel like I'm falling into an everlasting loop.
