Day Two in Japan

Wake up at 5:00. It's pretty darn cold and damp in our bedroom of 4 1/2 tatami mats. All is still and quiet outside and inside the house. Except for the fact that Hatsumi and Jiro, our host-couple's cats, ran around like frickin' maniacs attacking some things of catnip we gave them. Arg.

Twisted and I groan about not being able to sleep (went to bed after midnight after being awake for over 38 hours).

We eat our little gummy Flintstones vitamins (took em everyday. Oh yeah xD), roll out of bed and try to organize some stuff. Then we decide to take a walk to find a vending machine that is surely nearby (as they ALWAYS are in Japan) in order to procure some coke for Melinda to stave off the rampages of evil migraines. Oh joy.

We get us some drinks, take a lovely walk and then go back home. We eat a laaaate brunch thing (of tasty tasty stew) and then head off to a Bible study where we will see the brother-person.

Now, isn't that the gorgeousness? That lovely scenery was right by the building we went to most days for our Bible studies and whatnot. Teh awesome.

After the study we went out to do the volunteer missionary work that was the main reason we went to Japan. We had the chance to speak to loooots of people from countries such as the Philippines and Sri Lanka. For none of them was English their first language, but we had some nice Bible discussions.

After that we had to CRASH. Twisted and I were way out of it by 5 o'clock and we felt that we would die. No joke. So, we were in bed and asleep by 8. Go us.

Anywho, stay tuned for more of our adventures in Japan. TwistedChick and I appreciate it!
