I stared down at Hana-hime distraught.
“Hana…what do I do?” I muttered. “Toko-kun and Toma-chan are fighting to get Shaza-san to help, Hisa-chan’s watching, probably to get knowledge of her fighting style, Vathana-kun’s training with Kirihime…and” I glared at the wall angry “I’m stuck here!” here was Shiro’s office with him and Ran. I was under “house’ arrest for the “stunt” we pulled to rescue Rai-kun.
“well…” Hana started “why don’t you just leave. I have Things I would rather teach you than be stuck here” I pursed my lips thinking.
“alright” I grinned “You are such a bad influence” I laughed getting up from the couch and looking around. Ran was on the other side of the room asleep, and drooling on some paperwork. I looked behind me to see shiro’s desk unoccupied, the door to the storage space open. Now was my chance. I walked softly to the door and was almost there when Shiro’s voice rang out
“Just where do you think your going?” I sweatdroped and took a breath turning around. Acing time.
“I’ve got…Cramps! Really bad cramps! Owww” I wimpered clutching my lower belly and bending over slightly. I bit a chunk of my cheek and almost smiled when tears started rolling down my cheeks. Shiro eyed me.
“I didn’t hear anything before now” dang it. He’s suspicious.
“What do you know about cramps? They come on so suddenly!” I glared bending over further and rocking a bit. “Do you really want me here? They can get really bad. I might start screaming really loud soon” I warned “Uwahhhh! Their getting worse!” I raised my voice biting another chunk of my cheek for another round of fresh tears, mentally laughing when he took a step back.
“I’ll take you to the infirmary” He offered reaching a hand out
“No! I-I mean no, that’s alright. I’ll go alone.”
“are you sure?”
“Positive!” I exclaimed running out, letting out a loud “OWWAHOW!!!” for good measure.
When I was far away enough, I let out a loud whoop and jumped in victory.
“Come on!” Hana scolded “How long do you think, until the boy learns you lied? Not long” I shuddered at the thought. Upset shiro was adorable, totally red in the face, determined for revenge, totally and utterly infuriated…now that was scary. I stopped at once and bolted away, jumping through the trees until I came to a clearing at the very edge of the property, over 30 miles away.
I walked to the middle and sat down on my legs, placing hana on the grass in front of me
“sit down more comfortably” Hana said “Were going to be here for a while”
“I am comfortable” I shot back, but even though I could sit that way for a long time before I started to feel the effects, I knew Hana was right. I adjusted my legs to sit cross legged. “There. Now what?”
“Now you close your eyes and relax. Picture where we first met. Where you learned of my name.” I did. It took more than a few tries, every time I heard something I’d shoot up and freak.
“You can stand up now” Hana said to my still sitting self.
“Right!” I said sheepishly standing up and looking around. It looked the same, the tree’s the grass, the flowers everywhere. I still couldn’t believe she came from here. I looked down to say something but Hana wasn’t there anymore.
“Hana?!” I shouted looking around “Hana where’d you go?!”
“Look behind you” She said. I did. There she was. “human” form again.
“Stop staring” the words sounded harsh, but her actions, preeing and smiling, were not
“Your so vain” I sighed. “Now, why are we here?”
“Training” She said stopping her movements and leaning back on her left leg. “So far you only have stage one. And your not even using it correctly” She sighed lifting her bangs off her face, disappointed. “swinging me around like that. I am not a bat so do not use me as one!”
“What do you expect?” I pouted “You never told me how to!”
“well” she grinned baring her sharp teeth
“Your teeth are strange” I interrupted “they don’t fit your image at all. Your personality doesn’t really either”
“Shut up and don’t interrupt” she snapped “I never should have insisted you come out of your shell and speak your mind more often” she muttered under her breath before continuing. “Now you will learn. For starters, did you know that I have the ability to focus you freezing ability better?”
“No!” I exclaimed shocked. That was news to me “That’s so cool”
“Yes, ‘cool’” she mocked “Anyways” she continued “The reason you don’t perform you freezing ability is because it’s unreliable isn’t it? If you don’t concentrate enough, or line up with your target properly, you don’t know what could happen.” I just nodded. She tossed me a staff, the same length and weight of herself in that form. “That’s an extension of my energy so it’ll do the same thing. Focus on that rabbit over there,” I looked and found said rabbit.
“when’d he get there?” I muttered
“Your not focusing” Hana scolded. I sighed and pointed the staff at the rabbit and concentrated. Almost immedietly I felt a release that signals that I froze my target. I opened my eyes surprised and found the rabbit frozen.
“Iyah!” I exclaimed “I did it!”
“yes, you did” Hana replied “Now do it again” she instructed. I sighed. This was going to be a long lesson.

After what seemed like hours I was able to freeze anything, any size, shape, weight, with little to no concentration, though I preferred a flick of my hand since she also taught me how to add enough pressure to make my targets fly, even while moving.
“Very good” Hana smiled. “Now remember when you were fighting with that…evil…maid?” she asked. I suspected she wanted to call her something different though. I nodded. “Did you pay attention to what I was saying?”
I thought back but came up empty. “Not really” I admitted.
“Fine. Lets make them come back” she growled. Before I could ask about what she meant a giant Hollow appeared.
“Are you serious?!” I exclaimed “cant you just tell me?!” I shouted as it started chasing me. I never really did get over my fear of hollows and Hana knew that, and was using it to her advantage.
“Nope!” she smiled as the hollow slammed his hand down so hard I was just barely able to get into a tree to avoid most of the shock wave. I flicked my hand but nothing happened
“HANA!” I screamed jumping into another tree as the hollow knocked down the one I was in. She just laughed. “IF I DIE I’M SO HAUNTING YOU! I DON’T CARE IF YOUR NOT REAL! I WILL FIND A WAY!” I flipped into another tree. “AND YOU! HAVENT YOU EVER HEARD ABOUT FOREST PROTECTION?!” I shouted at the hollow. Not the smartest move I have ever made. The hollow turned and aimed a giant hand at me once again, and once again I flipped out just in time, only this time I didn’t make it to another tree. Just when I was about to grab a branch, it grabbed me, spun around and threw me into another tree on the other side of the clearing. Okay, so maybe I did make it to another tree.
“Ohhh~” I groaned standing up from the mess of branches and other heavy things that I swear Hana altered the weight of just to mess with me. I stood there swaying as I wiped a smear of blood from my lips. “see if I ever rub you down with hot wax ever again” I muttered “say good bye to that shine your ever so proud of!” I ran up to the hollow and kicked it, which only resulted in me jumping around clutching my extremely pained and possible sprained foot.
“That wont do either” Hana called behind me
“Than tell me the stupid words!” I shouted at her as I half ran half hopped away from the hollow as it chased me once again.
“Find them out yourself” she yelled
‘I never thought I would be arguing with my own weapon in a life or death situation” I thought angrily. I skidded to a stop and turned around.
“Furai!(fly)” I screamed holding the staff in front of me. Nothing happened. “Yurasu(swing), ri-chi(reach) KUSABANA!!!!!(flower)” I screamed swinging the staff. Nothing happened, well nothing aside from the branch that Hana threw hitting me upside me head.
“DON’T JUST GUESS!!!” she screamed utterly angry now.
“THAN JUST TELL ME!!” I shouted back jumping up to the hollows shoulder using its reaching hands as steps.
“Fine!” she shouted back
“Really?” I asked smiling stopping my attack to the hollows mask.
“NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!” she screamed. Stupid gullibility. I flipped behind the hollow. What if I cant remember the words? How can I take down a hollow this size with a simple staff, especially when I cant freeze said hollow.
I felt the sting before I sensed the attack. The hollow swing at me, tearing open my whole left side. “Uugh!” I spat as I stumbled back before falling. I was breathing heavy and was now covered in a ton of my own blood. I really hope my current condition doesn’t stay when training ends. There’s no way Shiro will believe I was at the infirmary looking like how I do now. I staggered up and thought hard about that time. Fighting the maid. Rescuing Rai. Focusing on the words that I hadn’t paid any attention to, if any at all. I dodged the oncoming attacks, blocking what I could, jumping into trees until all I could do was run and hope that I didn’t slow down. I still had no clue.

I was completely covered head to toe in blood and wounds, including my still possibly sprained foot, a definetly twisted ankle and a gash on my head. My jacket had been discarded after it was used to pull me back, I was completely missing one of my sleeves while the other was hanging past my hand, and somehow one of my socks was missing, but I still had the shoe. Strange. Not to mention a huge tear going from my hip to barely an inch from my neck on the opposite side. There goes that outfit. Maybe I should wear the academies uniform.
At that moment my ankle decided to give way and I collapsed onto the ground, the hollow coming up fast. I struggled into a sitting position and clutched the staff. Just when the hollow was a few feet away I finally remembered her words.
As the hollow raised his hand, I raised the staff and shouted
“SHOU MOTTE YOUSO KAREI!!” as soon as the words left my lips smoke like fog stuff surrounded me. When it cleared I was on my feet, the staff gone, replaced by a giant battle axe.
“All right!” I breathed before jumping at the hollow and slicing off its left arm, spinning around as I fell to cut off its right. I used the severed arms to jump back up and than slice the hollow in half before landing exhausted.
“finally. I was wondering if I was going to have to find another holder” Hana said walking up to me. I just glared at her
“Oh just bring your skirt up and turn into that giant lotus blossom and leave me alone” I mutterd. She just smiled
“as you wish. You deserve a break” she whispered gently pushing me back using my forehead.
As I fell back I closed my eyes. When I opened them I was back in the clearing on the school grounds. I was about to close them again when I heard a growling noise behind me. I screamed thinking another hollow only to have a hand cover my mouth. I looked up to see an fuming shiro standing above me.
“Hey” I mutterd.
“what happened to your cramps?!” he exclaimed before noticing my state of dress. “and what about your clothes? Where did all the tears come from? And where did your sock go?!” I just stared up at him
“I was training” I smiled before closing my eyes and falling asleep.
Ayame-baka wanted me to submit this for her since she's busy...I think she wanted it all together...or maybe seperated into parts...oh well she'll change it when she checks if its not right.
