[My perspective is back...]
I shrugged a bit. "It depends on which powers your talking about..."
Kira shifted her gaze a bit, and regarded my words with interest.
"Which one...hmm...start with your hollow powers?" She asked. "If you don't mind telling me..."
3rd Person time.
Vathana sighed a bit and turned walked back over to the railing.
Did I...say somehting wrong, or did I get into a personal area of his memories...? Kira wondered, about to follow him, but he put his hand up, signaling for her to stay in the same position.
"Truth is Kira-san, I'm not like most people, I know it's already obvious. My hollow powers come from this battle I had before, I was being torn between life and death, that happened a long time ago...like when I was younger..." He explained. "Also, it connects to a scar that's on me to this day.
"?"Kira jumped down and looked at me, she looked like she was the same size Vathana, (5'8 by the way... but anime wise haha)
"It'd be better if I just showed you..." He said, then my eyes glowed silver.
"How exactly?" Toorima asked.
"Interested now are we?" Kira said. "Why's that?"
"Be quiet Kira, this one is strange, yet at the same time...very interesting..." She said , he heard her hiss a tiny bit, or was it a purr?
"Here, Kira-san if you don't mind?" Vathana asked.
She shook her head and walked forward, and his eyes locked with her's...
Then she saw something; a dimly lit room, and she saw a child in a a tube, with the lab around us, she saw the older Vathana's form, he was astral like, and Kira looked down at her hands, and she saw she was astral-like as well.
"Vathana-san? What's going on?" She asked, walking over to the older him.
"Watching memories," He answered, his eyes were glowing silver, Kira then looked back at the child in the tube, and scientists were typing and observing the child.
"Is that..you?" She asked looking back at Vathana, he nodded, his eyes reflecting a cold aura, Kira guessed it was the memory of when he was powerless must have connected to some horrible memories, she saw pain in his eyes, but only a little, he was very adept in hiding his emotions, she noted this.
The scene changed, and Vathana sighed a bit.
She saw his younger self on his hands and knees, blood covered the area around him...he had a 1 foot long dagger in my left hand, and hundreds of bodies laid around him...demons, and some humans...
"Vathana-san..." Kira breathed, a bit astonished.
"Yeah...I know, my past was hard..." He answered walking over to see his younger self, Kira waked a bit faster and knelt of his younger self.
His face was buried in his right hand, and then he suddenly looked up at her, and Kira backed up a bit feeling a huge amount of power and hostility in his aura.
"Woah..." Kira said, Vathana walked over and put his hand on her shoulder, she looked at him, he motioned in another direction. She turned to see, I turned to see a dark brown haired boy, he smirked evilly, and his eyes changed to orange and yellow.
Vathana turned to look at his younger self, his (Younger) eyes flashed and they were bright blue, but demonic... He got up, and then materialized another weapon it was a azure / black with flame-like blade, the hilt was different (Like Emil Castagnier's Swords), and he held it in reverse grip, and he grabbed a long crimson edged, silver nodachi, and held it in the regular grip.
"You were pretty awesome back then huh?" Kira asked.
"Heh, yeah I guess, but I'm even better now," Vathana said smirking a bit.
The dark brown haired boy laughed, amd then my younger self ran at him, while a unending wall of blades (Axes, Lances, Spears, daggers, etc), flew from behind the dark brown haired boy. Multiple weapons materialized the younger Vathana, and deflected all the other weapons.
"This may take a while, so I'll have this skip a little," Vathana said.
"Alright then..." Kira said stepping away, and awtaching the intense battle his younger self was overtaking the other guy, but then a scythe nearly killed him, but his younger self blocked and quickly attacked again and again.
The scene shifted a bit. the end of the battle.
Kira watched Younger Vathana get knocked back, his swords got knocekd out of his hands, and his other weapons got knocked aside, then the dark brown haired guy grabbed a diamond edged scythe and slashed across the younger Vathana's chest!!
"AHHHH!!!!!" He yelled and blood flew around, coming out of the long cut across his chest, and then the dark brown haired boy laughed kicked him, and then a massive explosion ensued as he swung his arm down.
The scene faded out. Kira and Vathana were back in the school yard...Kira looked at Vathana, he sighed and walked back to the railing.
"Those eyes from before..." Kira began.
He turned to look at her, his glowing silver eyes fading into a dark red color...
"Chokushi no Magan (Demon Eyes of Instant Death or Mysitc Eyes of Death Preception)... Those were the bright blue eyes. My eyes change color a lot either way, anyways after that battel I was about to die, but I came back to because of...well I'm not sure, my memory there is a bit hazy..."I explained.
"I see...interesting...but your a lot stronger than your leting on..." Kira said. Toorima purred a bit, Vathana assumed she was agreeing.
"I'm...currently lacking in power, caus eI placed myself under a massive seal, its for personal reasons, so I can't tell you anymore," He said.
"What about you scar?" Toorima asked.
Vathana took his shirt off, and Kira saw a long scar across his chest.
"Still here," He said, then he put his shirt back on.
"You look like your in shape," Kira complimented.
"I have to keep in shape in order to be at the top of my game all the time," He said, then he closed his eyes. "Anymore questions?"
Weird title I know, anyways, take it or leave it. Kira I'm sorry if I made you say something you wouldn't, and Kikyo don't woryr you'll be in there later...if this continues.
(Note: Picking up exactly where you left off, Point of View switch or the equivalency of. And you did good on how Kira would have acted.)
I shifted slightly, spinning around on the rail and sitting so I could watch the sunset as well.
I was curious about this one. He was different... And he was the one Toorima was on edge about...
'Nen'iri, Kira-san...'
It took me a moment to realize she had shifted languages on me again. I knew she didn't trust him but she can just keep quiet...
'He can hear you. And don't shift like that... It throws me off.'
"Toorima-san doesn't trust me does she? Seems to me she isn't rather fond of this meeting."
I sighed and slid my arms into my sleeves, crossing my legs as well.
"She doesn't. She knows your different from the rest. She also isn't so fond of your abillity to hear her... Hence her shifting to another language."
I turned slightly, carefully observing him and blocking Toorima out slightly, or attempting to. She was virtually cussing me out in another language for tuning her out.
"Quite vocal isn't she?"
"Very. You get used to it after awhile."
I saw a small smirk slip onto his features, obviously he could still hear her and was tuning her out as I was.
I felt something shift slightly and I lost track of Toorima's presence.
"Darn cat..."
I ran my hands along a scar on my arm, the only one that had never faded away, and tried to find her. She had retreated to her own little haven. I could feel her, but not sence or hear her.
"She's mad at me again..."
"So it seems. That happen often?"
"Actually no. Only when I ignore her for whatever reason. She doesn't like that. It probably has something to do with her past before I gained her..."
I saw a field of snow with a black lynx stalking through it, leaving no trail behind her. I knew that just out of sight was the village she frequented. They always talked of how a black cat would steal meat from the racks while they were drying for storage. It wasn't uncommon for an elder to tell the story and then look up from the children to find a large piece of meat missing.
"Her past? Before she became your zanpakuto?"
"Yes. She was a legend in her own right. And to those that saw her, she was."
"I see."
I sat quietly, not really moving or paying attention. Merely enjoying the sunset before us.
Once the moon started to rise however, I flipped back and landed crouched. I sprung from that spot and into a near by tree, resting my back against the trunk and turning to look at Hadachi, wondering if he would come up as well. I wouldn't extend the offer, but it should be obvious that I wouldn't object.
"I have a question for you, Hadachi-san..."
I watched him, hoping for some form of reaction. He motioned for me to continue and I did.
"What is it you are holding back? I can see that something more is lying just beneathe the skin, but I can't tell what. I know your stronger than you let on, but it's what gives you that power that I am curious about..."
--
Neh, not my best, but kinda all I could come up with. ^^; Hope I didn't kill Hadachi's personality. I didn't do much with it for that reason. Take it and run or whatever you wish.
Nen'iri = Careful
I was walking outside to my favorite / usual spot at the Academy...the place where I landed...haha. It was about 5 minutes after Hisa-san and I finished training with Kikyo.
I walked over to the railing thing I leaned on to watch the sunset, and sure enought the view was just as spectacular.
Switching to third person...
Vathana sighed a bit, reminiscing on the past, from the Academy, and from his other adventures in other worlds.
"Hey, Kira-san, are you just going to stand there, by yourself, or are you going to join me?" I asked, without turning around.
She appeared nearby. "Nicely done, your pretty sharp aren't you?"
Vathana shrugged. "Well if you say so, I'm just used to this sort of thing."
She looked a little interested. "Really?"
Vathana nodded. "I bet you are too, I know you aren't like all the other students here..."
"Hmm..." Kira looked at him with a curiosity. "Very sharp..."
"Not bad...for a human," He heard something say.
"Toorima-san,right?" Vathana asked calmly.
"Very composed as well," Toorima said.
"I learned to keep cool and such in these kind of situations," Vathana said. "Since this is the first time we've met...why don't we talk a bit Kira-san, and you too Toorima-san?"
Kira shrugged a bit. " I don't mind, Toorima?"
"It might be a waste of time, but...fine," Toorima said sighing a bit.
Kira walked over and leaned on the railing too.
A little ways away, leaning on a wall, eyes closed, and smiling a bit.
"I knew those two would end up talking a bit," Kikyo laughed. " I so called that."
Sorry it's abeen a while since I've been around. Ikara-o-kage, sorry but Kira's cool haha, and if this isn't how you'd act then my apologies, and Kikyo...I don't know, what do you think? This can be finished here, or can be continued, your call, anyone?
