I woke up the next morning to a pounding on my door. A voice called into my room.
"Wake up!" the person called. "Your getting bumped up a grade!" I flew out of bed and put on my best kimono.
By noon, I had my own zanpakuto. In my morning class, I had a break to get use to my zanpakuto. I focused my senses, and thought:
Hello? I'm Suchi-ru Harmony, your new partner.
Do not call me partner until you can prove yourself.
Suddenly, I found myself in a world, where green fields were burning with fire, but nothing burned. Dark clouds released unending rain, but failed to even lower the flames. A large silver, double headed dragon sat in the middle of all of it. Her great golden eyes seared into me.
"I am known as Niikashira Doragon. Surprizingly, you listened to my name the first time. Many take many encounters before they care enough to learn my name." Both heads seemed to speak, yet the voice was only singular, like one only mouthed the words. I sat on the grass in front of her.
"Well, yeah!" I said. "We're gonna be partners right? So I should at least know your name! Here's a deal: If I can call you Niikashira, you can call my Suchi." She looked intently at me. Seeming at least a little pleased, she spread her great wings and lowered her heads.
"Fine then, Suchi. I will call you partner. For now. Do not fail me." I got up, bowing to her. "Your inner world is strange. So many emotions, but yet, all so false." I looked into her wise eyes.
"Yep, that's me." I admitted."What you may see may not always be what's real. Well, talk more later. Better get back to class! Cíao!" I left the world in a swirl of darkness.
