'Kira~? You with me?'
'Mmmhm... Just thinking...'
'About?'
'Anything and everything. Why ask? You're my zanpakuto; you tell me.'
'Because I want you to willingly tell me.'
'Simple. I'm trying to figure out a few things.'
'And those are?'
'Toorima... Quit asking.'
'No. If this little issue is bothering you so much, talk to her about it.'
'And if I am waiting on her to make a move?'
'... You're not. So stop avoiding the topic.'
'True. If I decide to do that though, would you leave me alone about it?'
'Nope.'
I sighed and spun around on my window seal, laying half in and half out. I tucked my arms in my sleeves and grabbed them from the inside, holding them and the rest of my hakama in place. The blood rush was calming to a point. I have no clue why.
'Figured. Do me a favor though...'
I watched her tilt her head and look at me.
'Stop asking. You can read my mind basicly, so find out for yourself.'
'Fine, but if you screw up a kido and it backfires, I'm going to laugh.'
'TOORIMA!'
Yes, that was another thing on my mind. I was really getting behind in my kido class... It wasn't my choosen art, and it was showing. I was having issues getting some of the more powerful kido to work for me...
Idea.
'Hope you don't mind loud noises. I'm headed to the training areas. I need to work on my Kido...'
'At this hour?'
'Yep.'
I bolted up, grabbing my head from the sudden motion that made me see grey for a moment. I had to stop doing that... I stood, straightening my hakama and grabbing my gloves. I had found a use for them. Kido training. It protected my hands a bit from the back-fires that were happening more often to me... Thankfully they were burn-resistant. I pulled them on and shunpoued my way to the training grounds, outside of course. Once reaching the area I sat Toorima beside a tree, tugged my gloves tight, and meditated. I only did this for Kido, it seemed to help somewhat... Less back-fires. Once I was sure that I was calm and composed, I stood and held one hand out in front of me, the other bracing my wrist.
'Let's hope for no back-fire this time...'
"Ye Lord,
Mask of blood and flesh,
All creation,
Flutter of wings,
Ye who bears the name of man,
Inferno and Pandemonium,
The sea barrier surges,
March on the south!
Hadou #31 - Red Flame Cannon!"
I felt the glove burn slightly, and then smelled chared leather. I had no clue what happened until I felt it. Another back-fire was coming... Too much power behind it. The spell released and I instantly clutched my hand. The burns were just as bad this time as the last. I looked it over and noted that my pearl white glove was blackened this time. No more white gloves on the right hand...
'Kira? How bad is it this time...?'
'Not as bad as it feels... It feels like someone put my hand in a blender... But it's not that bad. It'll heal in a few days time, or at least to the point I can use it again...'
I started trying to pull my glove off, but stopped. The stupid thing was glued to my hand... That's what blood does when it drys though... And heat speeds drying... I walked over to the tree and pulled Toorima from her sheathe, pausing to look at the blade. The black and white markings along the silver were proof that she was different from most. The majority of zanpakuto would only have markings of such when in shikai... Yet they were normal for her. Pride. It had reared it's ugly head. I smiled and then placed the tip of the blade under the back of the glove, just under the band that kept it tight on my wrist when buckled.
This was not going to be fun...

Neh, mid-class bordom killer. Fly with it if you'd like. It can be stopped here and dropped. ^^; Was just something to kill time.
I will be drawing Toorima's sealed form. I may attempt to draw her bankai, no guarantees though. Will post it when I finish it.
