Akane and Hisa sat and talked for awhile after the intense clash with Rei. Akane knew that if Rai was accepted and let into the Academy that there would be some sort of trouble. After all, Hisa did leave real fast when she was accepted, only saying good bye to Akane.
*Flashback*
“I’m sorry that I have to go, but I’m super excited!”
“I know, I’m happy for you! I’m just sad that I’m not old enough yet, I’ll get in sooner or later, mark my words!” Akane grinned.
“That totally sucks, it always happens like that! I’m gonna miss you lots!” Hisa said.
“Look at it this way, it’s a break from Hiro and Rai! The only bad thing is that you’re leaving me here to babysit them all alone! You know as well as I do that Hiro will follow me around like a lost puppy and Rai’s laughing will never stop, even if I punch him, he’ll just laugh even harder!” Akane laughed
“SO TRUE!!!” Hisa laughed so hard that Akane thought she was going to fall over. When Hisa finally stopped, she said, “But in all seriousness, I am so happy that I’m finally going to be doing something different. I’m sick of looking and cleaning up after a couple of teenage boys who are just about as old as we are. It’s time to move on.” Hisa looked at the sun setting and smiled. “You are my best friend Akane, you have always been there for me, I’m so glad I met you that day, long ago. I hope to see you real soon, don’t let those boys push you over and walk all over you now!”
“Come on Hisa, me? Those guys ain’t got nothin’ on me!” Akane said as she snapped in the “z” formation. The girls laughed. Later that evening, Hisa left to start her training. That night Akane was left to herself since the guys were out who-knows-where doing lord-knows-what. She turned on her music and sang for hours. Singing was her way of releasing anger, stress, or pain. She soon drifted off to sleep, and dreamed of “1000 Oceans” and “1000 dark years where time has died” and “1000 stars that are passing by.” (she was listening to Tokio Hotel (surprise surprise lol))
*Back to the future (lol)*
Akane knew Hisa was feeling better. That was one of her abilities. She knew just what to say and/or do to make a mad or sad Hisa happy and herself again.
“Hey, now that I’m moved in, I should go around and meet people, huh? Who was that boy that we saw earlier? Vathana I think you called him? He didn’t seem to notice I was there. Rai must have gotten him riled up as well.” Akane said to Hisa.
“Oh yeah! I would be happy to introduce you to people here! Let’s go!” Hisa grabbed Akane’s wrist and dragged her out the door.
