Raidon headed towards the Squad 4 barracks and checked up on Hisa.
"Hey, you okay?" He asked, walking into her room.
"Yeah, I'm alive." She said smiling. "For a second I thought that I was gonna die."
"I know you, you won't die so easily." Rai replied, smiling widely.
Akane and Hiroshi entered Hisa's room.
"Hello!!! How's it go-" Hiro shouted when he walked in, but then Rai and Akane slapped their hands over his mouth.
"Have you forgotten where we are?!" Rai scolded. Akane looked as if she was going to break a chair over Hiroshi's head.
"Sorry..." Hiro said, looking guilty, but Rai and Akane weren't buying it. Hisa was laughing.
"Thanks for visiting me!" She said.

At Hueco Mundo, an arrancar was talking to Ulquiorra.
"That power was not his own..." Ulquiorra said as he shared his findings with the arrancar. "He seems to have connected with a zanpakuto spirit."
"No fooling. Well, it looks like I'll have to be careful when he comes the the World of the Living."
"I just have one question, why didn't you go with us, Taichi?"
"Ones best tricks are saved for last. Besides, he has something I need..." Taichi said walking away.

Rai was heading back to his dorm for lunch when he turned a corner and walked straight into Captain Mayuri.
“Watch where you’re go-…well, what do we have here? The one who was able to fend off an espada with a training zanpakuto?”
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!! Raidon screamed in his head. Of all the people to run into, it has to be HIM!
“Well, aren’t you a fine specimen. How about I make you an offer you can’t refuse? You be my test subject and You get three square meals a day, three hours of sleep, I’ll try my best not to alter your body with experiments that could cost you your life, and I’ll limit brain test to five times a day. And, as a bonus, you’ll only be tested on 6 days of the week. Do we have a deal?” Mayuri offered.
“I’d rather be impaled by a halberd…” Rai said, inching away slowly.
“That can be put in the deal. What do you say?”
“That’s the reason I DON’T want to be in your squad…”
“It’s not that bad. A few casualties for the greater good are no big deal.”
Rai turned and bolted but his path was blocked by Nemu.
“If you won’t be my test subject, at least show me how you were able to fight an espada and remove the hollow mask from Suchi.” Mayuri said, walking toward Rai.
