Against His Will...

Rai woke up, shivering.
"Gaaaah, why does it have to be so FREAKING COLD!!!" He said loudly, rubbing his hands together.
Walking outside, he saw that it was nearly dawn.
"Well, at least I can enjoy the scenery before Hiro wakes up and ruins my day..." Rai sighed, walking through a nearby snowdrift. He was glad to be alive today.
"Well, well well..." a mocking voice came from behind, "You are the chosen Plume Wielder? They have lowered their expectations..." Whirling around, Raidon saw a mysterious figure in a cloak, their face not showing.
"If its a fight you want, my schedules booked. I have a bunch of snow to shove on Hiro from his roof when he wakes up, and I intend to actually beat him with the element of surprise." Rai said, tilting his head to the side.
"Don't worry, this won't take long..." The figure said, a large rune appearing underneath Rai.
Rai, run! Akumamitsukai yelled in his head.
"Shadow Storm!!" A large pillar of blinding light erupted from the rune, catching Rai in it's destruction. By the time the light faded, he was lying face down in a crater, cover in cuts , scratches, bruises, and many other injuries..
"Now you understand the situation you are in..." The figure said, walking forwards. Grabbing Rai by the hair, the figure lifted him up, "Now you have a choice, come with me, or-"
"Sorry, but I have no intention of going with you."
"Let me finish. Or, do you want your friends to suffer something more intense..." The figure said, holding a ball of black fire in her hand.
"You wouldn't..."
"You want to test me?" She said, as the ball of fire rose and grew.
"No, don't. Please." Rai began to say through a half-conscious mind. "Fine, I'll go."
"Now thats more like it." The figure smirked and the fire went out, "You'll find Niesfiliem a great place to train..."
A dark portal openned up before them. "Now come on, The Mistress does not like to be kept waiting."
With a tear in his eye, Rai walked forward, but then stopped. Using his own blood before he stepped through, he wrote in the crater:

I"m sorry
