Toma walked away from 4th division, hearing the news of Vathana-san. She slowly walked towards the west gate.
"TOMA-SAMA!" A voice boomed.
Toma looked up. Jidanbō towered over her. Toma looked down.
"WHAT BRINGS YOU HERE ON THIS SNOWY DAY?"
"Please, Jidanbō," Toma said quietly, "Stop calling me sama just becuase I'm a noble. Your a higher rank than me any way."
"YES, TOMA-SAMA!"
Toma sighed. "Just open the gate, please."
Jidanbō opened the gate.
Toma walked through the gate.
West Rukongai 3rd district. Hokutan. Famous for the grave yard that soulreapers are often buried. Amoung resting there are Shiba Kaien, Hisana Kuchiki, Maki Ichinose, Miyako Shiba, and.... Emo.
Toma stopped in front of Emo's marker. The snow fell peacefully.
This may sound stupid, Toma thought, but here it goes.
"Um... Hi, Emo, how's it going?" she said out loud.
"Well your dead... and..." tears welled up.
"Well, Kikyo misses you badly right now. She almost froze to death. I'm worried about her, and I'm sure you are too."
"I have a question. What happen's when a soul dies? Are they reancarnated, or do they just go away forever?"
A tear fell down.
"Ngh, these stupid tears!" She yelled. It echoed. A great deal of sadness went through her.
Toma stood up. "Emo, I swear on your grave, I'll never let anything happen to Kikyo!" She grabbed her sword. With a quick slash, she cut her hand.
Drops of blood fell on the snow. Toma turned to leave.
Suddenly, a wierd rift of spiritual pressure hit Toma.
"Wait, that's..." She broke into a sprint.
Then she saw the crater. And the words written in blood...
I'm Sorry...
"Rai!!!!" Toma screamed...
Omg!!! A cliff hanger!!! I hope you like it! Thank you ShingetsuHime for the picture of Toma!
