Akane watched in horror as Hisa became limp. Time slowed, Akane started to cry silently.
“Its not too late you know.”

“Music is powerful, when used properly. Hisa is not lost yet. Do what needs to be done, you are very powerful, your songs give you unique abilities while your connected to them.”

Time regained its normal pace. Akane rushed over to Hisa. “Rai, put her down, I can do this.” Rai reluctantly put Hisa on the ground. Akane put her hands on Hisa’s heart and a song began to play from Sosobutai. It was Green Day’s song, Last Night on Earth. A bright white light came out of Akane’s hands. Akane sang with the music, hitting every note perfectly with ease and softness. She had learned how to sing from years of daily practice.

The light slowly dimmed out and everyone anxiously looked at Hisa, but still mesmerized by what they just saw and heard. Akane looked down at Hisa. She smiled as Hisa slowly opened her eyes.
“A-Akane?”
Akane smiled, and flicked Hisa in the nose. Hisa’s hand flew up to her face.
“Hey! What was that for!?” She asked as she rocketed up off the ground. All of her wounds were healed.
“When are you ever going to stop being reckless? No, wait, don’t answer that, I already know it’s going to be never! But that’s why I always have your back. Even in the situations you aren’t suppose to get yourself into.” Akane laughed.
“It’s finally done.” She thought.
