The night seemed the calmest in a while.
Toma sat by a plum tree by the stream. Instead of wearing her uniform, she wore a light blue yakuta.
A fox-girl hybrid sat next to her. Kyubi no Harusame.
Hello, Toma, she said.
"Tonight is so peaceful," Toma said, "Just perfect."
Much too quiet, if you ask me.
"I didn't ask you," Toma stated.
Jeez, talk about cold.
There was a silence.
Are you ready? Kyubi asked.
"For what?" Toma said.
For your rescue attempt.
Toma shrugged, "As ready as I can be."
Even if you havn't achieved bankai?
Toma smirked, "I may not have bankai, but I have benn working on something."
Sounds mischevious.
"Not as bad as it sounds," Toma said.
They both smiled.
Well, good luck, Kyubi said.
Toma nodded.Kyubi disapperated.
She looked up. The fireworks seemed beutiful.
"I'm I doing fine, Emo?" Toma asked outloud, "Or am I slowly going insane?"
Toma continued to watch the fireworks burn out of the sky.
