It was the middle of the day when Toma saw Raidon. Her eyes intently watched him.
Students were walking around him. Avoiding any contact. Even the teachers gave him strange looks.

"You idiot!" Toma yelled, tears falling down her face. "We're your friends, doesn't matter what anybody says!"
Raidon bowed his head.
"Do you know," Toma continued," What it is like to be the first to find out a friend is gone! Or to watch them become no more then shallow shells of themselves? Well, do you!?" Toma collapsed onto her knees.
"We need each other," Toma sobbed, "Especially after what happened to you. We need to stick together."
Raidon remained silent.
"I can't even begin to understand what you feel, but I can help you..."
"I know," Raidon said.
Toma looked up.
"I-... didn't mean for all this to happen... I just-"

An attempt on a cliffhanger!
