In Seireitei, there were two friends who doesn't pay very close attention to what the sensei lectures. In short, they listen to what they want to hear.
Me: Hey did you hear?
Mchile: Hear what?
Me: What?! Aren't you listening at all?!
Mchile: uhh no.. I was reading this new issue of animemag.
Me: Woah!? Seriously!!? I want to read it too~ *sudden realization* ahh! anyways.! Sensei said that we should interview...uhmm.. OC?
