Rai nearly died of shock when a a masked spider came out of nowhwere and tackled Hisa.
*Flash*
"You jerk! Keep that thing AWAY FROM ME!!!" Rai yelled as a gray-haired boy held a tarantula above his head. Rai was taped to a chair, and he was struggling to get away.
"Hiroshi, leave him alone." a red-haired girl said as she walked onto the scene.
"Don't ruin my fun. Now go away." The boy made a face and lowered the over-sized spider onto Rais face. Raidon froze up in fear as it crawled on his face. The boy was waiting for him to freak out.
"This is a new low, even for you." The girl said and began to lecture him.
*Flash*
Rai found himself chasing after his friend and his fear.
My life sucks. He thought sadly. "Hisa! Hisa, you there?!" Hollow Raidon eventually came to a abandoned building. Why can't the evil guys come up with better hide-outs??? He entered the building by bursting through the wall. The entire place was coated with webs. Hisa was hanging upside down from the ceiling, mumbling to herself. Raidon dug his claws into the wall as he climbed up, avoiding the webs. At the top, he tried to free Hisa from the threads. She was beginning to regain conciousness. Just as a few more threads were broken, Hisa completeley regained conciouness. Before anything could be said, the masked spider attacked from behind, yanking Hollow Raidon from the ceiling. The two free-fell for several moments, and they crashed onto the floor. Raidon put some space between him and his opponent, but found himself cornered. He reminded himself why he was fighting by looking up, seeing Hisa trying to get free. However, this distraction caused the masked spider to get a pre-emptive strike. It tackled Raidon and bit down on his shoulder. Hollow Raidon yelled in pain, and then he bit back on one of his opponents legs. He tried to over-power his fear, but he began to feel his strength wane.
You idiot. A voice said in his head. All spiders have a type of poison. This guy is no exception. Then longer you stay like this, the more its gonna get pumped into you. You don't have a lethal dose yet. Just disable it. You know what you need to do. Hollow Raidon twitched for a moment, and then summoned the last of his strength and plunged his claw deep into the area below the mask. He felt something, and then ripped out the spiders venom sac.
Good. That's good enough for now. The voice sounded pleased. Both of them let go of their grip on each other. Hollow Raidon fell to the ground, bleeding from his shoulder and weak from the venom. The masked spider was still alive. It began to crawl over and then it was about to deal the killing strike when a voice echoed through the abandoned building.
"Scream, Benehime." A crimson shockwave shot out from the openning in the wall and completely destoyed the masked spider. A man walked in carrying a sword. He was wearing some kind of sun-hat.
"I come for a bounty, and look what I find." He said, sounding half-amused, half-bored. He looked up at the ceiling and saw Hisa dangling.
"I'll deal with you later. For now..." The man turned his attention to Raidon. His sword gleamed menacingly.
"... so this is how it ends for me, huh? Killed by some guy wearing a ridiculous hat after I try to save my friend?" Raidon began to ask.
"Hold on a moment, your friend? How in the world does a Hollow become friends with a human?" The man began to question. "Now that I think about it, why does a hollow even go after a human?" He looked at Hisa. "Care to explain?"
