Transportation achievement unlocked.
It's been a busy past few days for me, but I've finally got a license, car and insurance. (In that order.) But I ended up with something different than I initially searched for because the two cars I wanted at first were both sold before I could m...Fifteen is my limit on schnitzengruben.
It's been a long time since I watched Blazing Saddles. Glad I was able to do it with such a fun group of people! 1. The Third Man (1949): An American writer of pulp ...We don't need no stinking badges.
So we had a three-way tie in the movie vote this week, which required me to step in for the second time. Because I love having more people around, I went with Blazing Saddles. Ace, I will guilt you forever if you don't show up this week! (Unless there is some crazy emergency, of course.)
Anyway, usual time and place -- this coming Tuesday, Jan. 4 (of the year 2011!), at 10 p.m. EDT/7 p.m. PDT. The movie is 93 minutes long.
The room will be called Rock Ridge, and the password will be blackbart.

Good news, everybody!
I finally took and passed my driver's test. That took way too damn long. But I made up for that with a quick turnaround in searching for a car, haha. My uncle and I are going to check out a car tomorrow afternoon because he's the family engineer and I, uh, know fuck all about cars. Hopefully the car we check out will be up to snuff. Didn't look too bad from the pictures (it's a 2005 Honda Accord with about 70,000 miles on it), but pictures don't tell much of the story, of course.
But, yes, transportation issues will be a thing of the past for me. Hooray!
