We don't need no stinking badges.

So we had a three-way tie in the movie vote this week, which required me to step in for the second time. Because I love having more people around, I went with Blazing Saddles. Ace, I will guilt you forever if you don't show up this week! (Unless there is some crazy emergency, of course.)

Anyway, usual time and place -- this coming Tuesday, Jan. 4 (of the year 2011!), at 10 p.m. EDT/7 p.m. PDT. The movie is 93 minutes long.

The room will be called Rock Ridge, and the password will be blackbart.

Good news, everybody!

I finally took and passed my driver's test. That took way too damn long. But I made up for that with a quick turnaround in searching for a car, haha. My uncle and I are going to check out a car tomorrow afternoon because he's the family engineer and I, uh, know fuck all about cars. Hopefully the car we check out will be up to snuff. Didn't look too bad from the pictures (it's a 2005 Honda Accord with about 70,000 miles on it), but pictures don't tell much of the story, of course.

But, yes, transportation issues will be a thing of the past for me. Hooray!
