NATSUMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
I still think Natori is the Itsuki of Natsume Yuujinchou. And YES to everything you said about the show. Natsume's such a sweetie. I wish he were my son... or something. I would be understanding. ;__;
Yeah, I really like Lin a lot, too. I can see why people might not like him later -- what with the whole becoming the new Greed thing -- but that just makes him a more interesting character to me. Probably helps that Greed is my favorite Homunculus. >>

Reincarnation is one of the more popular theories, but I feel like I remember reading something that the world actually ended and reborn, although that does conflict with your point on how Paradise is created...
This is actually what I believe happens, though I think my wording is a bit too vague. When I say Paradise is a condition rather than a physical place, I mean Paradise can be created/opened/whatever when all the wolves and humans die, i.e. when the world ends. Then the world is reborn into Paradise until Darcia's eye contaminates it, and it is no longer Paradise. The state of the world is what makes it Paradise -- that perfect balance that apparently only plant life can keep steady. Humans and wolves are innately imperfect, which is why their presence cancels out Paradise.
And I watched the dub. I planned to listen to both the English dub and Japanese and make my decision from there, but I enjoyed the first episode of the English dub so much that I decided to stick with it the whole way through. Next time I see Wolf's Rain it will probably be in Japanese.

Yeah, the whole WINRY IS TEH EMO BOO is kinda grating. I challenge anyone who's just happened to find their parents' murderer to pick up a gun, point it at the killer's head and not pull the trigger. At least she's trying to move on, unlike certain other anime characters who use their traumatic pasts as a lame excuse to eff up the crap of everyone everywhere. Looking at you, "Duck Ass" Uchiha.
And Lin is the freaking man. Resourceful, clever, and he cares about his subordinates. Plus he still manages to come off as a flaky prick while making it seem funny.

I always read these things, think 'yeah, such-and-such sounds good' ... But I very rarely get around to watching anything X3 *shakes head*
Wolf's Rain would be my choice from that lot, methinks.
