Guess who officially received a job offer just now? :D
Man, I almost can't believe it's happening! Going in for training tomorrow afternoon, and the managing editor said I'd need about 2-3 days of that before I really start working (which will give them time to finish their background check of me, which is the only remaining obstacle to me being hired for sure).
But, yes, I now feel sure enough about being hired to post about it here, haha. Going out with my family to celebrate later, and I texted a friend of mine just now who wanted to get together if the news was good. :D
