lol, I forgot there were multiple versions of Army of Darkness. Oops! Oh well. It wasn't that confusing most of the time we watched it. :p

1. Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981): Indiana Jones is a treasure hunting archaeologist who is approached by Army intelligence agents with a mission: The Nazis, hunting for occult power, are searching for the Ark of the Covenant. Indiana must get to the Ark before the Nazis can find it and unleash crazy powers on the Allies. Directed by Steven Spielberg, starring Harrison Ford, Karen Allen and Paul Freeman.

2. Planet of the Apes (1968): Astronauts take off on a journey and are in deep hibernation when their ship crash lands on an unknown planet in the year 3978 (they took off in 1971). The three survivors go hunt for food and water but are soon attacked; one astronaut, Taylor, finds himself the prisoner of a group of sentient apes apes who are the dominant rulers of this planet. Directed by Franklin J. Schaffner, starring Charlton Heston, Roddy McDowall and Kim Hunter.

3. Harvey (1950): Elwood P. Dowd's best friend is a six foot, three inch tall invisible rabbit named Harvey. Everyone in his family thinks he is either crazy or boozing, however. But even as they try to have Dowd committed to a sanatorium, bit by bit people see things from Dowd's point of view. Directed by Henry Koster, starring James Stewart and Josephine Hull.

4. Sunset Boulevard (1950): Struggling young screenwriter Joseph C. Gillis happens upon the mansion of faded silent film star, Norma Desmond, after blowing a tire in front of it driving away from repossession men. Because he has no other work and no prospects, he becomes Norma's kept man as she lavishes attention upon him in exchange for Joseph writing her comeback script. But their mutual dependence -- his financial, and her emotional -- warps their reality as Norma becomes more obsessed with her return to the silver screen. Directed by Billy Wilder, starring Gloria Swanson, William Holden and Erich von Stroheim.

5. The Manchurian Candidate (1962): During the Korean War, Chinese Communists capture an American platoon and brainwash the soldiers, sending them back to America with the cover story that one of their own saved them. Capt. Bennett Marco has recurring nightmares related to the brainwashing and decides to investigate them; he slowly uncovers a twisted assassination plot that runs deeper than Marco could ever imagine. Directed by John Frankenheimer, starring Frank Sinatra, Laurence Harvey, Janet Leigh and Angela Lansbury.
