So, I have plenty of reason to be cheery today: My dad was able to have surgery last night, and it was a success! We're hoping he'll be able to come home tomorrow, but that depends on his blood sugar levels; the doctors want to get that stabilized before they let him go. I'm just glad it was finally able to happen -- I'm sure it's a huge relief for him!
