BakaBT Bounty

Vote in the post below this if you haven't already!

Anyway, the freeleech period on BakaBT finished up a while ago, and I meant to post about what I grabbed, but I kept forgetting. Also, I've been meaning to start writing up anime reviews again; it's just that my free time for writing has been quite low lately. I've barely had time to watch anime at all, much less write about it, haha. It's taken me nearly a month to finish Patlabor, and it's not even that long (47 episodes)! But, yes, once things settle down a bit more, I'll be able to write about that stuff again, since I've built up a decent backlog of recently watched shows.

So here's what I got!

Series
Armored Trooper VOTOMS (Old mecha series that mechaheads swear by. Pretty excited to watch it!)
Astro Fighter Sunred (Parody series of sentai shows from Japan -- think Power Rangers. Supposed to be hysterical.)
Banner of the Stars I-III (Epic science-fiction and space battles.)
Crest of the Stars (More epic science-fiction and space battles!)
Dennou Coil (Supposed to be one of the more interesting, creative shows of the past few years.)
Generator Gawl (Mecha series that Seiji Mizushima -- director of the first Fullmetal Alchemist series and Gundam 00 -- worked on way back when.)
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd Gig (Yep, finally watching this.)
Golgo 13 (Someone finally subbed the rest of this! I am so ready for more ridiculous sniping action.)
Hunter x Hunter (Supposed to be the best of the Shonen Jump fighty series.)
Irresponsible Captain Tylor (A slacker as a space captain? I'm there.)
Mobile Police Patlabor: The New Files (Finishing off my run of Patlabor.)
Moyashimon (Watched the first episode back when it originally aired and didn't keep up with the rest for some reason. Always heard good things about it.)
Nana (Because I need a good, depressing series every once in a while.)
Space Battleship Yamato (I heard it shows its age now, but hell, I've got to see the grand daddy of anime space operas.)
Tetsujin 28 (The final Yasuhiro Imagawa-directed series I've yet to watch.)

Movies
Akira (Haven't seen it since high school.)
Barefoot Gen (Like Grave of the Fireflies, except somehow more depressing.)
Brave Story (To placate Ace. :p)
The Dagger of Kamui (Heard mixed things about it, but I need to watch more older anime flicks.)
Dracula: Sovereign of the Damned (Already watched it -- a must for anyone who loves hilariously awful movies.)
End of Evangelion (Also haven't seen this since high school. Definitely watching after I finish rewatching Evangelion.)
Run, Melos! (Loved this segment in Aoi Bungaku. I'm curious what an adaptation focusing entirely on the play itself would be like.)
Sword of the Stranger (Supposed to have some of the most amazing animated battles ever.)

And I've also got Kino's Journey and Samurai Champloo coming because TimeChaser is such a kind soul. Hooray! This will keep me busy for quite a while. Might even last me the whole year at the pace I'm going, haha.
