1) If you can change one thing about any anime of your choice, what would it be?
I'd make it so that everything in the second half of Escaflowne never happened.
2) When you read for fun, what literary genre do you prefer?
Science-fiction.
3) What two historical figures would you want to see go head-to-head in a cage match?
Teddy Roosevelt and Andrew Jackson.
4) Who is your favorite comedian?
Ugh, this changes all the time, but for now I'd say Greg Giraldo. He was always the funniest guy in every Comedy Central roast, he was great on Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn and he had a good stand-up act. Real shame that he died so young.
5) If you could go back and witness any moment in history, which would it be?
I have to say I'd probably get chills witnessing Martin Luther King's "I Have a Dream" speech in person.
6) What's your favorite pizza topping combination?
Cheese and extra cheese? I am the most boring pizza eater in history.
7) Hollywood today is all about remakes. What movie would you remake?
Remakes should be made only if there was a good idea that was screwed up and could possibly be salvaged. One I watched this year is The Beyond, which was screwed up because the story tried to split the difference between being a supernatural horror movie and a violent zombie movie and failed at both. I'd make it a full-on supernatural flick: It has that gritty late 1970s-early 1980s feel to it that's perfect for supernatural horror.
8) What was your favorite childhood song?
Probably the theme to Tiny Toon Adventures, haha.
9) What's your dream car?
I'm not a car person at all, so I have no answer here ...
10) What would you rather have: a Gundam, Super Saiyan powers, or a TARDIS?
This is tough, because on the one hand, you have a giant robot, but on the other hand, you have something that can take you to any time and place in the universe. I'd probably go with the TARDIS, just because I can see myself screwing something up with the Gundam and blowing myself up.
11) Do you sing in the shower?
On occasion.
