When the whole harem thing began, I told 'Gome that if she made a harem for women (and she did), then I would make one for men. I am now following through on this promise.
Quick question: Should I be troubled that I had more choices for this one than the other one? For the women's harem, most of my choices were pretty definite, whereas for this one there were six guys fighting it out for the final two or three spots, haha. Oh, the perils of being a straight male picking out a man harem ... >>

-- Dr. Tenma: An easy No. 1 for me. One of the strongest moral characters in any medium I have ever read/watched/listened to, and he is a famous brain surgeon, so he is also filthy rich. Every man should aspire to be Dr. Tenma.
-- Spike: Duh. He's Spike friggin' Spiegel.
-- Dutch: Best boss ever, even though he's not in the safest field of work. Treats his employees wonderfully, and also gives out one hell of a prayer.
-- Ruka: Total douchebag for 95 percent of the time he's on the show, and then ... well, he could be amazing, or still a douchebag, depending on how you feel about the story.
-- Kyon: Hanging out with him would be a lot of fun.
-- Holland: Starts out awesome, becomes a jerk, and then launches into the Stratosphere of Awesome. He also has his own surfing mech. A real winner.
-- November 11: When I grow up, I want to be November 11.
-- Hatori: Always liked him, from when he first showed up in the manga all the way until the end. Plus, I get to start and end this list with doctors. A win-win situation all around.
