Lost Ravings II

I meant to post this last night, but I was so distracted after Lost that I didn't have much time to assemble the ol' notes. But here they are now! Yay!

---

-- Read The Lost Diary. Good Web site there.
-- DESMOND IMPREGNATED PENNY. Gooooooooooo Desmond!!
-- Impromptu birth is impromptu.
-- Annnnnnnd, fast forward to the point where Desmond's baby is a cute little kid. Awwwwwwww.
-- "Don't tell him the story about me breaking your heart!! Jeez!!"
-- Charlotte is not long for this world??
-- "I won't let you die, Charlotte. At least not until we get your backstory."
-- More random, dead people, courtesy of Jones and Co. Yikes.
-- All Desmond, all the time tonight. w00t.
-- ... Yeah, he's going back to that island someday.
-- Re: Mines -- apparently the kiddie corps didn't plant 'em. Good job thinning the cast, other Losties random military people we don't know and haven't seen!
-- Frogurt is still a hilarious nickname.
-- Latin 101 is apparently the first class in the crash course of Otherdom.
-- GHOSTBUSTER SENSES GHOSTS.
-- Riiiiiiiiiiiiiichard "The Man" Alpert, ladies and gentlemen!!
-- wtf bomb
-- Desmond has snazzy glasses. He also dresses like the second Dr. Who, according to my sister.
-- Desmond: "wtf, I can't explain this shit"
-- And here is the evidence of Faraday's existence. :O
-- lol, the maze. Just reminds of the "wtf" face Desmond made after Faraday's experiment.
-- Creepy experiments are creepy. Sending rats' brains back into time, wtf.
-- Ooh, Faraday must have experimented on Charlotte in the past; that's why he knows what her problem is.
-- Richard: "Whatever, gtfo before I have to hear any more lovey-dovey nonsense."
-- Locke: "HE'S MAH BOY"
-- This lady sounds quite bitter. She must know what Daniel was up to.
-- Annnnnnnnnnnd it appears as if Teresa fell up the stairs and down the stairs a bit too much.
-- Lesson: Brain warping experiments do NOT turn out well.
-- Ghostbuster is determined to become the Asian Sawyer, at least in terms of sarcasm. Let's wait and see if he starts pulling nicknames out of his ass.
-- lol @ scrub!Other. "You think he knows this island better than I do?"
-- Juliet x Sawyer is at least 1,000,000,000 times better than Kate x Sawyer.
-- That is a big ass bomb.
-- lol "Jughead" Bombs get hilarious nicknames.
-- "Son of a bitch" is Sawyer's official catchphrase, isn't it? Next thing you know, he'll smile and wink to the camera when he says it.
-- "Why did you tell her we are from the future!! Come on, man!!"
-- Please, Widmore. You know everything.
-- Suspicious Widmore actions are suspicious.
-- Widmore knows Ben will ace Penny the first chance he gets. He's actually giving Desmond good advice, jeez.
-- LOL WIDMORE IS SCRUB!OTHER HAHAHAHAHA
-- Locke could not have looked more smug during that greeting if he tried.
-- What, exactly, was Desmond planning to do if Penny actually believed his blatant lie?
-- Awwww, he named his kid Charlie. SLASH FIC FODDER AHOY.
-- Haha, and Richard does visit young Locke, with compass in tow. I'm sure this will be the first of many insane time paradoxes. (I always love those.)
-- Too early in the season for you to get that information, Mr. Locke.
-- Ghostbuster, do you really want Faraday to love you?
-- ... I mean, look what is happening to Charlotte.

A solid episode. Not as action-packed as the season premiere, but I didn't expect it to be brimming with crazy. Some interesting stuff about Faraday's increasingly shady past and Widmore's connection to the island. (Was he born there? Or was he moved there, like Ben? Did he have a falling out with the island's inhabitants? The way Richard treated him certainly indicated that he isn't especially respected.) Also, Mrs. Hawking is way more likely to be Faraday's mom now.

Unfortunately, it appears as though next week's episode is Kate-centric. *vomits profusely* Why, God, why??

EDIT: Also, random, prevailing theory I have seen regarding the girl with the gun -- she is Faraday's mom, which would explain why he recognized her when he saw her.

Another interesting thought regarding the bomb: I've seen it suggested a couple of times that perhaps the radiation from the bomb contributed to the mysterious sickness suffered by Rousseau's crew. That would also explain the Hazmat suits Desmond and the other button-pushers needed to wear.
