Lost is the coolest. (aka I needed a title)

Another week, another episode of Lost. The season started but a few weeks ago, and yet so much has happened that it seems as though we are at the midway point. Will this week continue the trend? (Hint: Yes.)

-- Jack wakes up in a similar situation to the beginning of the series. Can he wake up to when he didn't suck?? Please??
-- But, unsurprisingly, he is somewhere completely different -- off the island, I guess, since he's rescuing Hurely. Haha, what a tease!
-- Dude, actually, wouldn't it be crazy if this were them back on the island?? Like, with the Faraday tease, where it shows a bit and then leaves us hanging for God knows how long.
-- GOD KATE WHY CAN'T YOU DIE
-- Haha, I knew it! Crazy stuff, man. Crazy.
-- lol, Mrs. Hawking is the only person who can insult Ben without fear.
-- Lots of intense geographical calculation goes into finding the island. I can already tell this will be WAY over my head.
-- The Others steal Dharma stuff on the island AND off the island. Bravo!
-- "Is he telling the truth?" "Probably not." Ladies and gentlemen: An accurate description of Ben!
-- Connected pockets of electromagnetivity help people find the island. Hooray?
-- A very clever man -- perhaps a time paradox Faraday?
-- I wonder if the island had always been moving while everyone was on it, but they just hadn't noticed because it's usually a subtle thing?
-- Crazy island time location equations = awesome but insanely confusing.
-- Desmond is skeptical and wants nothing to do with the island. He's also pissed at Mrs. Hawking.
-- He also gives Jack the business, and of course they totally don't listen. Desmond will definitely make it back to the island if it's not done with him, though.
-- So, this whole plane flying into the time window dealie is clearly how Oceanic 815 originally made it to the island ... which means, as suspected all along, that someone was definitely behind the whole shebang going down, because it sure as hell isn't a coincidence that so many connected people were on the same flight. The question is who was behind it, and why?
-- Also, as the beginning showed, they got Hurley and Kate to go along with them. Sayid is the wild card -- I wonder how they'll convince him to join the party?
-- wtf Locke killed himself?? Wha??
-- Hmm. Did he kill himself as part of this plot? Locke is fucking nuts.
-- Proxy? ERGO PROXY?? *shot*
-- Oh, wow. This is so weird. Locke is going to play the part of Christian Shepherd. A dead man playing the part of a dead man, who is the father of a living man. WTF?
-- Oh, gosh. Who knows what kind of insane loose ends Ben needs to tie up.
-- lol, oh the irony of using faith to hit an emotional chord with Jack.
-- That was some of the worst-acted sarcasm I've ever heard.
-- Oh god. This guy likes Kate. I hate him.
-- The wonders of convenience. Hope you like the shoes, Locke.
-- SAYID JUMP OUT OF NOWHERE AND BEAT UP JACK
-- OH GOD THIS IS THE OPPOSITE OF SAYID UGH
-- My sister: "She looks like a junkie. And not even a cool junkie like Charlie."
-- Oh lord, I look up and see Kate and Jack sucking face. DO NOT WANT.
-- OH GOD THEY DID IT, DIDN'T THEY??? DIDN'T THEY???????????????
-- Kate makes me feel sad. Can I get rid of her?? Please??
-- Good God. Speaking of butchers, Ben is looking AWFUL. I knew he was up to something batcrap insane. Who wants to bet it's like four episodes before we find out what he was doing?
-- For some reason, I laughed at Locke inside his coffin. Does this make me a bad person?
-- Jack is in denial about what's in that note.
-- lol, Jack is recreating his argument in the first season. So freaking weird.
-- Sayid does not look as if he's there for anything good. I wonder what he is planning with security? Hmm.
-- You know, what if Sayid is the reason Ben is all messed up? Perhaps he is the reason Sayid has the escort.
-- Haha, Hurley is reading Y: The Last Man, written by Brian K. Vaughan, who is one of the head writers of Lost now. Product placement!
-- Aww, Hurley wants to keep everyone safe.
-- Man, Ben is ROUGHED up. My gosh. Also, he gave Sayid a weird look -- Sayid definitely f'ed him up.
-- lol Ben. "Who cares?"
-- So, did Sayid get Hurley onto this flight? Someone told him to be there. And Sayid is definitely planning something. He always has a reason for everything he does. Hmmmmmmmmmmm.
-- OMG FRANK IS THE PILOT AWESOME
-- Frank looks so weird all cleaned up.
-- Oh gosh. Frank doesn't know what's going on. Poor guy.
-- "My mother taught me." Ben Linus, everyone! He'll be here all week! He's also a Ulysses fan.
-- Let's find out what Locke's suicide note says. Instructions, perhaps?
-- Well, that's right to the point.
-- Hey, a time warp instead of a crash. Huh.
-- Dude, Jack, just leave her. Jeez.
-- OMG WTF JIN IS WORKING FOR DHARMA WHAT

I am absolutely amazed at how quickly things are moving. FOR GOD'S SAKE, THEY'RE ON THE ISLAND NOW. Did anyone think we'd be at this point five episodes into the season? Wow. Also, it appears as if everyone is at the point where Faraday is doing his thing with Dharma, so I suppose we're going to get answers for that WAY sooner than anyone expected, too. Ah, the new Lost where we get answers AND great twists in rapid fire style is great!
