Stories and Dorky References

Haha, I'll probably do a post of decent length in a couple of days (long story short, had a lot of fun, Laura is a good gal, etc.), but right now I am too sore to write anything of much consequence, haha. Going to Disneyland meant I did much more walking than I have done in, um, forever, so my legs are pretty much begging me to take a nice rest today lol. Pictures will also be shown off later, since Laura requested I hold off on that until she gets back home Wednesday. I got 171 (!!!) in all, some of which are kind of trippy, and others just goofy. (And Goofy. *smacked*)

But there are a couple of amusing tidbits I'd like to share.

1) My Donkey Kong shirt is apparently a magnet for compliments. Women dig the Kong. Who knew? The number of complimenters in whom I could sense an interest in me was quite a bit lower, but hey, batting at the Mendoza Line is better than going 0-for-5.

Laura's boyfriend, Derrick, tilted his head and said, "Wait, is that ... ? No, it can't be ..." And then the front man started singing ...

"You spin me right round, baby, right round ..."

And he was like, "Holy crap, it is!!" while Laura and I shouted "OMG SPINZAKU!!!!!" and laughed for about two minutes before nearly killing ourselves recreating Spinzaku's killer moves. Being a geek is fun.

3) The most important part of the day is, of course, dinner. I had a slice of pizza, while Laura had ...

... I'm sorry. I had to. Anyway, that's all for now. I'm off to finish up three anime (White Album, Rideback and Gundam 00, in order from least to most awesome) and read a hefty chunk of The Princess Bride, which I barely started reading for lord knows what reason. You may all brick me now.
