So, awesome to get more of a look at Ben's past with the island, although I guess this means Ben was already an Other when The Purge happened, right? I'd also like to get more on how exactly Ben was chosen to be leader of the Others. Was it similar to Locke in that Richard just backed him, and poof, it happened? The concept of the Others having rules amuses me for some reason. And DAMN @ the ferocity with which Desmond beat the holy fuck out of Ben. Go, Desmond! Also, I think I saw Sawyer punch Jack in the preview for next week's episode, so I am immediately excited.
