Irony Ahoy, Losties!!

Ugh, I am so glad that's the final hiatus. Clip shows are my mortal enemy. I get enough of those damn things while watching anime. Good to see Lost back, however, and with a Faraday episode, no less! I'm excited. :D

-- Noooooooooooo, Desmond!! Don't die!!
-- Oh snap, Eloise Hawking.
-- "Good lord, no." LOL, nobody wants Ben as a son.
-- lol, invented the DVD.
-- "Don't look at me, I was just carrying his luggage." I love you, Miles.
-- ... Well, that's a nice curveball. They don't belong here, eh?
-- Damn, kid!Faraday can groove on the piano.
-- "But I want to be distracted!!"
-- Daniel has to pick up his groceries before he tells Jack really important information.
-- "He woke me up, started talking nonsense and left." "... So, same ol', same ol'?"
-- Good thing Sawyer had that Phil Cabinet put in.
-- And now will we see the scene at the beginning of the season? :O
-- "... Yeah, whatever, random construction guy."
-- Well. 30,000 times the electromagnetic power, huh? I'd be hauling ass off the island.
-- Oh snap. He pulled the "I'm from the future" card.
-- Faraday is pulling out all the stops now to convince Dr. Chang.
-- Future equations would totally convince me if I knew what the hell they meant.
-- Miles' "wtf stay out of my business" face is amusing.
-- My sister: "What's up with Faraday's Sirius Black hair?"
-- Poor Teresa. You never stood a chance.
-- Mrs. Hawking is somewhat controlling.[/understatement]
-- Haha. Charles Widmore is "some industrialist."
-- Hey, a present!
-- D'awww. A "constant" reminder of his mom's love! Ha ha! Witty!
-- Only Hurley could convince himself that punching a guy in the face could somehow be construed as a misunderstanding.
-- ... God, it's so weird to hear Jin speak perfect English.
-- Poor Sawyer having to completely re-evaluate his life here.
-- "He still crazy?" "It's on a whole other level now." Haha.
-- Damn, there aren't many silences more awkward than the one that came after this: "Where can I find the Hostiles??"
-- Oh snap, now Ellie will be revealed as Faraday's mom. Yay!
-- He tested the whole shebang on himself first, huh? Did he say as much when Desmond visited him? I forget.
-- "Because I put it there." Damn, that just gave me chills.
-- Poor Faraday's brain is all wacko now, huh?
-- "And by old friends, I mean I did it with your mom."
-- NO. KATE CANNOT SAY WHAT SHE WANTS TO SAY. SHUT UP.
-- lol, H.G. Wells.
-- Practical Juliet is practical. KATE, BE THE MEAT SHIELD. IF THERE IS TROUBLE, SHIELD FARADAY FROM ALL BULLETS.
-- I feel bad for Juliet and Sawyer. They had a kickass life, and now it's got just because they don't "belong" there. WELL, SCREW YOU, TIME.
-- The Hostiles won't be happy to see them. Hopefully they will be mad enough to shoot Kate. Please? For me?
-- hay charlotte lol
-- WTF YOU ARE CREEPY, KID.
-- Aww, poor Faraday. Poor, sort of creepy at the moment Faraday.
-- Ow, Faraday. KATE, WHY DID YOU NOT LEAP IN FRONT OF THAT BULLET AT SUPERSONIC SPEED?!?!?!
-- That is pretty much the first useful thing Jack has done all season.
-- Faraday, she knows because she has crazy connections.
-- Faraday is going to work with Widmore and fly high.
-- Mommy issues are in full force now.
-- "... Yeah, sure. I'll totally be proud of you."
-- Lucky Faraday is lucky.
-- LET KATE DIE IN THE PAST LET KATE DIE IN THE PAST LET KATE DIE IN THE PAST
-- Oh god, I hope they didn't set up this, "Any one of us can die in the past!" thing so that someone awesome will bite it. :(
-- also lol @ Radzinsky being shot in the hand
-- Ha, so Faraday is trying to keep everything in the past four seasons from happening. Crazy.
-- Relativistic physics says we have free will. Thanks, science!!
-- Haha, and now the hydrogen bomb from earlier in the season comes into play again. Whatever happens, there's going to be a mighty explosion before the season ends.
-- Yay, Desmond is doing fine!! Woo!!
-- Oh snap, slapped. (And, yeah, totally knew Widmore is Faraday's pops.)
-- Also aww @ Widmore actually caring about Desmond.
-- This talk of sacrifice is raising every red flag possible right now.
-- Ugh, I feared for Faraday's life all throughout that threat sequence ... and he's dead now. :(
-- Also, um, double dose of irony with that killing. Faraday is killed by his mother, and he's the one who was all, "We need to be careful about what we do here!" and "We can change fate, w00t!!" (EDIT: Actually, triple dose of irony since he changed his position from, "Whatever happens, happens.") I am practically drowning in irony right now.

Damn, the show didn't waste any time after the hiatus before killing someone major off. Poor Faraday. Just another victim in the endless battle of puny humans vs. FATE AKA THAT WHICH THOU MUST NOT FUCKETH WITH. Faraday tried to disprove all his rules, and now he is dead and the status quo is secure. Major fail. (AND KATE IS STILL ALIVE, ARGHGHGHGHGHGHGHG.) Interesting to see that Eloise Hawking is definitely double dealing with both Ben and Charles Widmore, although I'd wager she is more on Widmore's side than Ben's. (Which of course does not stop her from slapping the guy.) They must be battling for something huge if she knowingly sends her son to die on the island. The ol' heart'll be feeling that for quite a while. (Man, that is messed up, though. She raises him from birth to be the person fate specifically requires him to be, armed with the knowledge that her younger self will eventually kill him. I mean, damn. That's fucked up.) I'm also interested in what Penny and Desmond's future roles will be -- Widmore seems to have an idea, since his deteriorated relationship with Penny is an acknowledged sacrifice on his part. Also, right now "The Incident" is being painted as this electromagnetic accident that begins the chain of events that results in the crash of Oceanic 815, but I wonder if there is more to it than just that. Hm.

Lastly, poor Richard Alpert has to be the most confused person in the world. He meets all these characters at various moments in time, and they always seem to be demanding things. His brain will explode by the end of the season.
