Hometown: Classified

Background: After their parents died, Knuck and his sister, Henrietta, abandoned their apartment and fled into the woods. They made their home in an abandoned treehouse, and Knuck, using his Arceus-given skills of hunting and stealth, always brought home food for his sister, and sometimes himself.

For a few years, their life was fine. Knuck had a knack for thievery as well as hunting, and once when he was caught (and he feared he would receive death as a punishment), a kind teacher, having recognized the child’s skills, took him in and taught him in the ways of martial arts and true stealth every day for a few hours.

Knuck easily mastered the skills, and he found he could protect his sister should any danger ever befall her. And he was confident. All was well. And he expected it to continue that way.

Gorfrey was impressed by the teen’s abilities and sought him out, asking if the boy would join an “elite team” to “better the world.” Knuck politely declined, accidentally saying, “I have to take care of my sister,” as an excuse.

Naturally, Gorfrey figured out a way to get Knuck on his side pretty quickly.

The next day after his daily practice with the teacher, Knuck returned to the treehouse to find it ransacked. His sister was gone. All that was left was a note that read: “If you want her to be safe, meet me at the pier in Lilycove by tomorrow at dawn. You will join my crew, or she will be killed, and her dismembered remains will arrive at your door.”

Needless to say, Knuck complied. But as for his sister’s safety? Her status is unknown.
